Historia
Initially dismissed by US President Barack Obama, the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) has shocked the world by conquering massive territories in both countries and promising to create a vast new Muslim caliphate that observes the strict dictates of Sharia law. In ISIS: Inside the Army of Terror, American journalist Michael Weiss and Syrian analyst Hassan Hassan explain how these violent extremists evolved from a nearly defeated Iraqi insurgent group into a jihadi army of international volunteers who have conquered territory equal to the size of Great Britain.

Excellent but complicated
Revisado: 06-14-16
This was an excellent book but better to read than listen to. The situation is complicated, the names sound similar and there are many factions that become confusing. It would be an excellent read because you could go back and check who is who and what is what. Listening in the car while commuting to work was not the best circumstance to understand this book in totality. That being said I do believe I got the gist of what is happening with ISIS. It was a well written and thorough book.

Not Audible Friendly
Revisado: 01-18-16
This book didn't lend itself well to being read aloud. There was too much detail about the brain that was difficult to comprehend. It was impossible to keep the acronym's straight. I'm sure the book had diagrams of the brain showing what area was being discussed. This would be extremely helpful.
That being said the narrator was not very good. He was reading the book word for word and didn't seem to have a good grasp on the material himself. During the meditation sections he just read right through without any pause to allow for the practice. I felt he read too quickly in general.
I wouldn't recommend Budda's Brain on audio. I have listened to other books by the author that were also read by him that were excellent. This one missed the mark.
