I've looked for months now for a new adventure.

jay ( jewel ) and Rath deliver! I've been a member of audible since 2010. my first real adventure was with Robert Jordon. I've grieved when I heard he'd passed away. such a brilliant man and mind. then Terry goodkind. robin hobb is one of my absolute favorites. the whole story from Fitz and the Fools childhood to their end together. i dont think ive ever gotten emotional thru a story until them. shes amazing. you must listen to the lost ship raiders. it also has the Fools adventure while he is away from Fitz. I ran across this book and seen I put it in my wish list awhile back. so I gave it a try. I was taken away to jays time and life. I was hooked from the beginning. It's been at least 6 months since I found a book that I stuck with. I wasn't having to go back and find where I left off, taking me a week to listen to a 27 hr book. It's gonna be awful for this story to end!! if your hooked like I am on books you'll understand what I mean. I was listening to old books in my library because I couldn't find anything that caught my interest. I hope my review can send you on some great adventures as well!!🤗

Taking gods name in vain wasn't necessary to tell the story. It must have been said 200 times just in this book!

I love the story and how he can write his characters. I've listened to both the 1&2nd books again before I read the third. When someone takes the lords name in vain I cringe. I'd forgotten how much it was said until now. I almost just turned the book off!! If your gonna include God and heaven in your book you should have enough respect for the lord not to use his name in vain. Not even one should have been said. It was very unnecessary to tell the story.

Best one so far and I loved every book!!

I rate the other three books as a five each. Then this one I feel is the best out of them all! Great story! He doesn't drag out the story but keeps building it. The creative mind of this author is refreshing. I'd give this book six stars if I could. The writer and narrator are an awesome team and bring the story together and keeps drawing you in!

I do not understand the reviews where they complain abt the narrator. If one person didn't like him does that encourage the rest to decide they are a critic? People please! I've listened thru some horrible narrators to where you just can't finish the book. This. Guy is really good. They way he tells the story brings it alive. He makes the characters real. He makes you laugh and can bring you to tears. You feel as if you know the characters. Like your right there struggling with them. The writer has created this beautiful but dangerous adventure with characters you come to love. I hope she always keeps the story going and keeps her interesting and unique characters alive in the story as well. Even in the books you see how life is precious. both writer and narrator make an incredible team. May rhapsody and her loyal friends always have new roads to travel and take us along the way 👣

Great narrator. Don't listen to reviews!

I'm loving the new adventure in this series. I almost didn't buy it because of people complaining abt the narrator. Don't listen. I almost missed out. I've listened to over 400 books and believe me this guy is good! I've set thru painful books cause some narrators make it to where you just can't get into the books and that's a waisted credit! Not this guy. I think some people just like to complain! Enjoy the new adventure!! 🙋

I don't understand the complaints on the narrator. He did a good job! Believe me. I've listened to over 420 audio books and omg! There are bad narrators. This man isn't!! He doesn't ruin the story. I almost didn't buy the book because of the complaints on him but the books got such wonderful reviews. I took a chance. I'm so glad I did. Don't judge a book by the reviews of just the narrator! I hope he continues thru the series! I'm buying the series and off on a new adventure!
