Historia
It is the morning of the reaping that will kick off the 10th annual Hunger Games. In the Capitol, 18-year-old Coriolanus Snow is preparing for his one shot at glory as a mentor in the Games. The once-mighty house of Snow has fallen on hard times, its fate hanging on the slender chance that Coriolanus will be able to out charm, outwit, and outmaneuver his fellow students to mentor the winning tribute. The odds are against him. He’s been given the humiliating assignment of mentoring the female tribute from District 12, the lowest of the low.

Wow
Revisado: 03-01-21
Well most of that didn't go as expected. Great audio performance as well. 10/10 although I have a few ending questions I wish were answered for the sake of curiosity!

Historia
In pre-war Prague, the dreams of two young lovers are shattered when they are separated by the Nazi invasion. Then, decades later, thousands of miles away in New York, there's an inescapable glance of recognition between two strangers. Providence is giving Lenka and Josef one more chance. From the glamorous ease of life in Prague before the Occupation, to the horrors of Nazi Europe, The Lost Wife explores the power of first love, the resilience of the human spirit, and the strength of memory.

This is not only a captivating story...
Revisado: 11-10-18
Not only is this a captivating novel but the narrators bring the tale to life. I highly recommend this book to anyone with even the slightest interest in historically-based stories. Many of the characters are based on real people and the author did a great job of representing their world.

Great narrator, some predictability
Revisado: 12-17-17
The narrator is talented, the book flows well most of the time, the story is a bit predictable at times but still worth the listen. It's an entertaining book and not too long.
