Go back in time and explore the child within you..
Revisado: 08-30-23
This book was a-maz-ing! If you have ever been a child then you should read this book, from the youngest to the oldest. It was relatable, informative and educational. It gives such hopefulness for all the little children within us all who at some point did not feel protection, heard or worthy. Love the inspirational quotes provided. This is 100% a book club read, so get your pen and paper and start exploring healing together because you are not alone. I love when the author said, often times we are too busy surviving our trauma to be the best version of ourselves, this was a great self-check reminder to what we have conditioned ourselves to believe is normal. The author also reminded us to pay attention to how our behavior contradict our values because even with the best intentions many of us have and can get derailed. As parents we should explore different parental approaches, it can quite possibly save the next generations of inner child.
