good story

while the story is good the narrator is some what bland. she reads it fine just not slot of change between characters, so if you are used to that it can be difficult to get as engrossed. however it doesn't detect from the story which is well paced and interesting. just can be jarring if you are used to more dramatic narrator that have a different voice for each character.

like many books, I could wish for this one to continue. the author paints amazingly detailed pictures with his words, but they never seem to verbose or detract from the action. no weird unobtainium, science is good. All in all great read, good story, good series. can't wait till I can get the next installment.

Very good book.

I entered this universe much later in the series and decided to go back to the beginning and listen to the first books. I was a little concerned as this one was short. The story is great, the narrator is very engaging and the story moves right along. It did feel more like a short story than a full novel, I just bought the next 5 books in the series

As with all of the books in this world the story is very engaging and you really get involved with the characters. Can't wait to listen to the next in this series.
