Soothed my anxiety

I reached a point in my life where I needed a bit of help with my constant emotional overloads and stress management. Listening to the smooth voice of the narrator almost made the content easier to understand. I started to go to therapy (CBT), and I have to admit that it helps a lot!

Do not keep emotions locked away

If this audiobook has taught me anything it was not to keep your emotions locked away. My marriage suffered a lot and we almost ended up separating because of my inability to control my destrustive thoughts. This book has not only taught me how to communicate effectively, but keep on top of my negativity. It was a step in the right direction!

I am fairly new to being in a relationship. I got this to listen to in the hopes that I would be able to learn about how a normal, happy, and functional relationship should work. Things like clear communication, negotiation and, of course, listening. I was pleasantly surprised to have such a soothing narrator to help me on my journey through each chapter. No overwhelming accent or mispronunciations, and the content was clear, and enjoyable. I feel my knowledge has grown enough to guarantee a long, and hopefully successful, loving relationship. I have noted the timestamp for “Falling in Love vs. Staying in Love” just in case.
