Good story and interesting new characters introduced.

The only mar, which prevents giving it a higher performance rating, is the persistent mispronunciation of the word Killiney. Since most of the story occurs in Killiney, and one of the character is Lord Killiney, the word is used in nearly every paragraph. Some homework should have been done by Ms. Kellgren to prevent this constant irritation from what would have been an otherwise brilliant performance.

(Another small gaff was a reference to the characters drinking rose wine, when that would have been unheard of in Ireland in the 1930's.)

Besides these distractions, I found this book to be the best in the series, with far more depth to the plot and characters than previous books. It combines suspense and intrigue with the much anticipated mis-adventures.

If you could sum up Solitude Creek in three words, what would they be?

Just when you think you can predict what will be next, another twist gets thrown in. This one takes so many, you have to pay attention to every word. Nothing turns out the way you think it will. The final twist will really leave you hanging.
