Historia
The sensuous and the sublime, the ordinary and the divine - on the Tantric path, all qualities merge as one in the ecstasy and wonder of awakening. Doorways to the Infinite invites us to directly experience the core practices and insights of Tantra from its original source: Kashmir Shaivism's Vijnana Bhairava. This dialogue between the deity Shiva and his consort Devi unfolds the secrets for moment-to-moment awakening into inner freedom and open-eyed ecstasy. Now, Sally Kempton unpacks the hidden truths of this text, revealing it as a treasury of powerful pathways to direct revelation.

Historia
The sages of Tantra have known for centuries that when you follow the path of Shakti - the sacred feminine principle personified by the goddesses of yoga - these gifts can manifest spontaneously. Yet most of us, women as well as men, have yet to experience the full potential of our inner feminine energies. When you know these powers for what they are, they heighten your capacity to open spiritually, love more deeply and fearlessly, create with greater mastery, and move through the world with skill and delight.

healing and integrating.
Revisado: 05-30-22
Sally Kempton's words are like the most soothing reassuring and nourishing presence of an elder woman. there is knowledge that feels more like memories and there is undeniable and relentless love in the narrative. I wish the book was performed by her as well. the narrator has also done a good job. the meditations are wonderful and the book itself feels like a blessing.

Historia
The First Storyteller recounts the incredible and transformative journey that the storyteller embarks upon. Through a wide variety of styles and genres, the book draws upon the very idea of stories to bring to you a unique tale that is simultaneously funny, tragic and hopeful. It brings to the forefront the emotional turmoil of a deeply conflicted individual, and in the end, the question becomes not what is at the end of the path, but whether the person who starts the journey would be the same as the one who ends it.

incredibly beautiful book (rewilding/embodiment)
Revisado: 12-11-18
while I was disappointed with the way it has been read, (lack of emotion, lack of understanding) ...
I am a changed person because I read this book. it is so powerfully vulnerable, so gut wrenching, so joyful!
the book reminds you of your humanity and celebrates it.
the book is practically a manual for rewilding and embodiment.
the first storyteller helps you to come back and reconnect and listen and be in your body in the present. to feel anger for eg, physically... to feel arousal, physically, to feel exhaustion, to be able to meet the parts of you within you who are holding the joys the messages the pain. to be able to let go of the compulsive need to reason and deduce and analyse ... all of it based on the programming that has been done to you ... instead to be present... to actually see whats there... to interact with it...
the book holds space to help you to feel broken, scared, blind, hopeful, powerful, joyful... essentially it says, acknowledge and own and build a relationship with your feelings... so feel.
read this book. it will take you to the darkest places within you and then it will help you embrace that darkness and that embrace will light up your being...
