The End is closer than ever

I have heard about this my entire life. The direction of the world grows ever closer to being beyond salvation. People grow further from God, from Jesus, and closer to evil every single day. Guns aren’t evil, they are merely pieces of steel. It is the person who wields that gun with evil intent. And evil that drives people to harm others in so many ways. This series of books serves as a reminder to those of us who believe in God, the Father, and in His Son Jesus Christ, that we need to be ever closer to Them or we will find ourselves living in a world very similar to the ones who are to be Left Behind. The Bible goes back thousands of years and this has been told of from the very beginning. The Bible is not simply a storybook.

I can’t even count how many I have read, listened to, watched this series! Many happy memories of a road trip with my granddaughter where we listened to Jim Dale reading Books 1-5 before we ran out of time! That was at least 15 years ago and it is still something we both happily remember. And waiting in midnight lines for first showings was another great memory! What a treasure!

I can’t count the times I have read or listened to this book! It is just as good every time! Jim Dale is an amazing narrator, so many different voices, so well done! I have been indulging in these books since the day they came out! I think that the audiobooks of this series are the very best. Fond memories of a long road trip with my granddaughter! We were at 1st showings of a few of the movies as well! But Jim Dale is #1!

An outstanding series!

I have read the print copies of this series multiple times. I thoroughly enjoy the entire storyline quite a bit. It talks about values, caring for others and the importance of one’s history and family.
I am not exactly a young adult anymore, but more like a sr citizen! If you don’t need trash in a story to make it interesting, you will enjoy these books! Print or audiobook, both are outstanding. So far, only 2 of the series are in audio form. Please take the time to read the others! It is a wonderful story!

Storytelling at its best

We are all a time machine

A truer story was never told! We all carry our own time machine that can us back to any place in our memory. Some of us prefer the machine to reality. It is easier to live in the past than face what is right in front of us.
And the principal/teacher/Sunday School teacher knew all about us, even when we didn’t know ourselves. And he understood how important it was for parents to hear how wonderful their child was, not about all the trouble we created.
And when our time machines get together collectively, whole stories,with all sides being remembered at once, those memories are all enhanced. We carry our history with us our entire lives, for better, for worse. Those memories are what made us US. Sometimes they made us better, sometimes they broke our spirits. But memories are who we were, who we are and who we will become. I find it best to cling to the good memories and let the old ones fade away.
