Incredible Story!
Revisado: 03-19-25
Wow, what an amazing story, and so well read. it kept my interest the whole way through, and kept me on edge the whole time too.
I appreciate the origin stories within, and so loved the Poe. The greater message(s) too were conspicuous yet very well done, and are quite apropos at this time.
Well done!

Historia
For centuries the Túatha Dé Danann lived in peace on an island where time flowed more slowly and the seasons were gentle - until that peace was shattered by the arrival of invaders. The Gaels, the Children of Milesios, came looking for easy riches and conquest, following the story of an island to the west where their every desire could be granted. They had not anticipated that it would already be home to others, and against the advice of their druids, they began to exterminate the Túatha Dé Danann.

This Was Fantastic!
Revisado: 01-19-25
This is a fantastic story and very well narrated. It is a perfect companion to Bard, by the same author. I love both stories.
This was super enjoyable to listen to and I'm looking forward to listening to more of Morgan Llewellyn's audiobooks!

Historia
The thrilling conclusion to The Extinction Files is finally here! In 2003, the first human genome was sequenced. But the secrets it held were never revealed. The truth was discovered 30 years ago, almost by accident. Dr. Paul Kraus had spent his entire career searching for what he called humanity's lost tribes - human ancestors who had gone extinct. When Kraus compared the DNA samples of the lost tribes with our own, he found a pattern of changes: a code. At the time, the technology didn't exist to unravel what it meant. Kraus hid his work and disappeared.

Historia
This book contains foul language and fouler descriptions of life as a zombie. It will offend most anyone, so proceed with caution or not at all. And be forewarned: This is not a zombie book. This is a different sort of tale. It is a story about the unfortunate, about those who did not get away. It is a human story at its rotten heart. It is the reason we can't stop obsessing about these creatures, in whom we see all too much of ourselves.

Super Fun and Original Zombie Lit
Revisado: 08-25-24
This was a pleasure to listen to. I laughed, was grossed out, and forced ro think.
Zombie Lit from. the undead point of view can be difficult, but this was deftly handled by the author.
The narrators were excellent, though 'Michael' was a little too breathy.
I really enjoyed this book!

I live in a desert, so books set in a desert are not usually my thing. I'm very thankful I trusted the author to tell such a great story though!
I enjoyed the Silo series so much, I had to check Sands out, and I am very glad I did! now I am looking forward to more.

Historia
From bestselling author Anne Rice, writing as A.N. Roquleaure. In the traditional folktale of 'Sleeping Beauty,' the spell cast upon the lovely young princess and everyone in her castle can only be broken by the kiss of a Prince. It is an ancient story, one that originally emerged from and still deeply disturbs the mind's unconscious. Now Anne Rice's retelling of the Beauty story probes the unspoken implications of this lush, suggestive tale by exploring its undeniable connection to sexual desire. Here the Prince reawakens Beauty, not with a kiss, but with sexual initiation.
