the dad jokes and flippant attitude of the protagonist are annoying, semi funny dad jokes, detracting from the story. protagonist is an annoying guy i wouldn't want to hang out with so why would you care about his zombie story.

Boring and mediocre. Dude admits he's not wealthy in the beginning, tries to convince you why you should listen to his advice. He spends a large portion of the book, redefining what wealth is, as if he wants you to lower or change your expectations about what it means to be wealthy... or shift your expectations.

He then gives you basic financial advice.

I listened to this book on tape on 1.5x speed. You may need to as well, or you may fall asleep or your mind may wander. Author is somewhat negative against women, sounds like he has a chip on his shoulder, and his story confirms it. Doesn't seem he's that successful with women, because he doesn't give many examples of his successes, mostly his failures in business and in his marriages.

He offers some common sense tips on women, nothing profound or worth paying for this book.

He does reference some good books by Neil Strauss and Robert Greene.

Sad I paid for this book. Surprised it got such a high rating.

Patriots Audiolibro Por James Wesley Rawles arte de portada

Interesting topic but poorly written

Reads more like a factual textbook rather than a novel. The author writes about specifics that the reader doesn't really care about, like the processing speed of computers that a member uses to work at home from. Or the complete caliber, make and model of each gun and weapon each charachter has. Too many specifics, slowing down the flow of the story... who cares about how many guns, and what each type of gun they have.

too many facts, not enough feeling. Not enough action, and not enough emotion to get a real sense of what makes each charachter ticks. maybe it's just the reader of this audio book, but it's hard to get through, and i'm only in the first 2 hours. But that's my opinion.

Bought this book thinking I would make money

Total

I bought this book thinking that it would provide tips and tricks on how to save money from taxes and such. However it was the total opposite. It was a book that talked about how well connected individuals use tax money to make themselves richer! Well I already new these kind of things happen, it's not new. I was hoping I could learn some ways to do the same thing.

I bought this book with the wrong assumptions, and therefore didn't like it. For me it was a long winded book complaining about how the rich and well connected continue to get richer. My attitude is, quit complaining, if we invest the amount of time we complain about the rich, and put that time in learning how to think and become wealthy, we all would be in a better place.
