It is good as a historical study. It is a shame that it was actually tried in the Soviet Union and copied by the Chinese et al with the results being a 100 million dead and billions in slavery...

Revisado: 10-20-24
Well written, well told, and well crafted. One of the best (non) detective novel series I have ever read. A little JA Jance, a dallop of Brad Thor, a whole lot of Andrew K and volia! A masterpiece!

Historia
The Kennedy name has long been synonymous with wealth, power, glamor, and—above all else—integrity. But this carefully constructed veneer hides a dark truth: the pattern of Kennedy men physically and psychologically abusing women and girls, leaving a trail of ruin and death in each generation’s wake. Through decades of scandal after scandal—from sexual assaults to reputational slander, suicides to manslaughter—the family and their defenders have kept the Kennedy brand intact.

A Startling History that Spotlights the Negetive Aspects of the Kenedy Dynasty's Legacy
Revisado: 09-01-24
Darkly informative. This book begins what should be a long hard look at one of America's 'Royal' families and the myths that surround them. It should be mandatory reading for students of American history. I would only note that this book has perspective issues that detract frim it being a really great history book. I would note that in the epilogue Callahan treads close enough to the cliff edge of current partisan politics to cast suspicion on her motivations and unravel all her excellent work. However, her concluding summation pulls back from that fall and wraps things up neatly.

Historia
Hillbilly Elegy is a passionate and personal analysis of a culture in crisis - that of white working-class Americans. The decline of this group, a demographic of our country that has been slowly disintegrating over 40 years, has been reported on with growing frequency and alarm but has never before been written about as searingly from the inside. J. D. Vance tells the true story of what a social, regional, and class decline feels like when you were born with it hung around your neck.

A Tale of American
Revisado: 08-03-24
It was a great story of personal survival and success. It is a good critique of one of America’s many demographics. I am glad I listened to it. But, I had to do this in chunks because it grinds on the nerves after a while. Being a member of an university alumni book club, that seems to specialize in similar stories that blame whites for all the problems in the universe, I know there are a lot of similar stories. What is refreshing is hearing someone suggest that the solution is in changing ourselves, instead of some half-baked, clap-trap forced wealth redistribution scheme.

Historia
As a Hillary voter, a New York Times reporter, and frequent attendee at her local gay bars, Nellie Bowles fit right in with her San Francisco neighbors and friends—until she started questioning whether the progressive movement she knew and loved was actually helping people. When her colleagues suggested that asking such questions meant she was “on the wrong side of history,” Bowles did what any reporter worth her salt would do: she started investigating for herself. The answers she found were stranger—and funnier—than she expected.

Great post mortem observational material. Gives me hope the damage done by this movement can be corrected. During her reading I sometimes am not sure if she is reveling or being sarcastic. Liked it overall. Look forward to her interview with Andrew Klaven. Wish her and her wife well.

Historia
In the midst of a historic "birth dearth," why do some 5 percent of American women choose to defy the demographic norm by bearing five or more children? Hannah’s Children is a compelling portrait of these overlooked but fascinating mothers who, like the biblical Hannah, see their children as their purpose, their contribution, and their greatest blessing. The social scientist Catherine Pakaluk, herself the mother of eight, traveled across the United States and interviewed fifty-five college-educated women who were raising five or more children.

Necessary Data for Policy makers
Revisado: 05-13-24
In some ways it is sad that even the most obvious life-truths require to be researched and mathematically dissected. But, then again that seems to be the only way policy wonks will pay attention to an issue. Well documented, presented, and concluded.

China is killing Americans and working aggressively to maximize the carnage while our leaders remain passive and, in some cases, compliant. Why? If anyone could crack the code, it’s the renowned nonpartisan investigator Peter Schweizer. Schweizer’s previous three number one New York Times bestsellers sent shock waves through official Washington, sparking FBI investigations and congressional probes that continue to this day.

Just Say No to the WEF, the UN, and Agenda 21
Revisado: 02-08-24
As GB points out in the Afterward, he has taken these stories, based on Agenda 21, to their most extreme conclusions. The story sometimes is overdone.
A21ITS successfully makes the point that absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Final note: The American way of governance is truly the most revolutionary political force in history. But, there are egotistical, power-driven people on this planet who want to return most of the people on Earth back to serfdom. They are the real fascist threat to everyone.

Historia
When Eddie was 12 years old, all he wanted for Christmas was a bike. Although his life had gotten harder - and money tighter - since his father died and the family bakery closed...Eddie dreamed that somehow his mother would find a way to have his dream bike gleaming beside their modest Christmas tree that magical morning. What he got from her instead was a sweater. "A stupid, handmade, ugly sweater" that young Eddie left in a crumpled ball in the corner of his room.
