Historia
Ever since Toyota introduced the revolutionary Toyota Production System (TPS), businesses have tried to replicate Toyota’s success. Few have succeeded. What businesses have failed to realize is that TPS calls for a fundamentally different way of thinking. At long last, here is a straightforward guide that make sense of the thinking culture behind Toyota’s success. Tracey and Ernie Richardson speak from the heart as Toyota employees who worked in the Kentucky factory when the company was first introducing its people-first approach in the US, and went on in the ensuing decades to teach Lean thinking around the world.

Inspired to "Go Thinking"
Revisado: 03-20-19
I'm grateful to Tracey and Ernie for sharing their experiences and ideas regarding the Toyota System. This book offers a relatable introduction to the Toyota way of working. The techniques that are mentioned are applicable in other areas besides manufacturing. The experiences from other professionals included in the book also provide valuable insights regarding lean. My major takeaway is the value of the thinking underlying the tools. I recommend this for anyone that is looking at practicing lean, whether professionally or in their personal life.

Engaging and informative
Revisado: 09-12-17
I recommend this book to anyone that loves a good story as well as those with an interest in history.
The narrator does a wonderful job. I was engrossed in the book from the beginning. In particular, I loved the exploration of the papacy.
The author highlights the caveats and context within which her analysis is done. She is mindful not to generalize. I'm not a professional historian, however, I was impressed by the degree of detail that is provided on the different scenarios. In all, it's a wonderful listen.

I recommend this book to everyone.
I loved the book. In particular, the various tales of cons that have been carried out through the ages. It's enlightening to see that many scams have been running for centuries. The exploration of the human shortcomings that support cons and scams is eye-opening and presents something to think about.
The narrator was good. The tone and flow of the narration is consistent with whatever concept is being presented.

Historia
Google Executive Chairman and ex-CEO Eric Schmidt and former SVP of Products Jonathan Rosenberg came to Google over a decade ago as proven technology executives. At the time, the company was already well-known for doing things differently, reflecting the visionary - and frequently contrarian - principles of founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin. If Eric and Jonathan were going to succeed, they realized they would have to relearn everything they thought they knew about management and business.
