Historia
There are some odd things about Nate’s new apartment. Of course, he has other things on his mind. He hates his job. He has no money in the bank. No girlfriend. No plans for the future. So while his new home isn’t perfect, it’s livable. The rent is low, the property managers are friendly, and the odd little mysteries don’t nag at him too much. At least, not until he meets Mandy, his neighbor across the hall, and notices something unusual about her apartment. And Xela’s apartment. And Tim’s. And Veek’s.

A story well crafted & well told
Revisado: 03-06-13
Bought on prior recommendations of other Audible members.
This proved reliable & the book did not disappoint.
Despite the number of characters, the narrator does a great job & it's easy to tell who's who as you listen.

Historia
He is one of the most beloved athletes in history and one of the most gifted men ever to step onto a tennis court - but from early childhood Andre Agassi hated the game. Coaxed to swing a racket while still in the crib, forced to hit hundreds of balls a day while still in grade school, Agassi resented the constant pressure even as he drove himself to become a prodigy, an inner conflict that would define him. Now, in his beautiful, haunting autobiography, Agassi tells the story of a life framed by such conflicts.

Fleshing out the gaps
Revisado: 02-25-13
A great read, certainly worthwhile hearing how, in detail, this part of Agassi's life actually evolved. As a tennis fan I had questions around a lot of what went down with Andre & this book helped colour the background & set straight questions that lingered. It also it gives a great insight into the agony & elation that can come with a life at the top.

Informative & enlightening !
Revisado: 02-25-13
Being anti-military as opposed to a buff of this topic, I approached No Easy Day sceptically. Given how steeped in the way of life the writer undoubtedly was, I felt it was an informative & enlightening read.

the Plex is complex ... no doubt !
Revisado: 01-28-13
It's great to be informed about that most ubiquitous technology that is in sooo much of our mobile/online lives.
I'm not a techie, but it's good to know of Google's philosophy & the founders' thinking as time rolls on.
And 3 cheers for Maria Montessori.
Here in Australia there are just a few Montessori junior high schools.
I believe a Montessori high school experience is sooo good for shaping & rounding young teens, the benefits compared to a regular high school curriculum are immeasurable !

Reading par excellence, story likewise.
Revisado: 10-20-11
This wonderful story was just so beautifully read.
Don't be deterred by the book's length.
It kept me involved, not wanting to pull out my audio player ear buds !
Such is Bower's ability with his voice, combined with Courtenay's story-telling that you know instantly who is speaking, even before they are identified.
Thoroughly enlightening & enjoyable.
