Historia
Indeed, in our day and time, it seems that there are many misconceptions about faith and a general lack of good understanding on the subject. Some of the issues that abound include things like poorly worded or narrowly defined dictionary entries, belief that faith is only a religious thing, not knowing what the relationship between faith and knowledge is, and then not being able to state which one of these comes first with anything better than a 50/50 guess at a right answer, and others.

Dr. Palmer does an excellent job of describing Faith! His explanations and examples are simple but well thought out and everyone could benefit by reading this book and contemplating faith in their life.

Historia
The Two Towers is the second volume of J.R.R. Tolkien's epic saga, The Lord of the Rings. The Fellowship has been forced to split up. Frodo and Sam must continue alone towards Mount Doom, where the One Ring must be destroyed. Meanwhile, at Helm’s Deep and Isengard, the first great battles of the War of the Ring take shape. In this splendid, unabridged audio production of Tolkien’s great work, all the inhabitants of a magical universe - hobbits, elves, and wizards - spring to life. Rob Inglis’ narration has been praised as a masterpiece of audio.

Why is everything "new" a rehash of what came before?
Revisado: 05-17-16
Spoilers, but only because we've seen it all before. The government doesn't work the way it should. A conspiracy to overthrow the (Old/New) Republic decides they're going to secede. A (Rebellion/Resistance) is born led by a passionate senator.
I'm getting tired of Disney and its new cadre of writers taking everything in a "new" direction. Episode 7 shouldn't have been Episodes 4-6 Reboot. Star Wars Bloodline should have been called the Episodes 1-3 Reboot. I mean, they even talked about dadgum podracing!
Tiresome, nothing new, pointless book. Don't waste your time. I'll be returning this book.

And when Dooku orders the massacre of a flotilla of helpless refugees, the Jedi Council feels it has no choice but to take drastic action: targeting the man responsible for so many war atrocities, Count Dooku himself.

Another failed attempt to get Dooku...
Revisado: 08-19-15
What disappointed you about Dark Disciple: Star Wars?
Absolutely love Marc Thompson, but he needs a better Mace Windu voice. Several times I had to stop the book, back up, and make sure I wasn't listening to a different Star Wars book.
Has Dark Disciple: Star Wars turned you off from other books in this genre?
Nothing can turn me off of Star Wars.
What three words best describe Marc Thompson’s voice?
Versatile, engaging, accurate (with exception of Windu).
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
I can't think of any redeeming qualities, other than we see what happens to Ventress.

Just kinda...meh...
Revisado: 03-08-15
Would you be willing to try another book from Kevin Hearne? Why or why not?
Sure. Decent story, just kinda all over the place. No real focus.
Have you listened to any of Marc Thompson’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Yes. Marc Thompson is amazing as usual. It wouldn't be a light side of the force Star Wars novel without him.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Not really. It wasn't a real page turner. Probably won't ever be a movie.
Any additional comments?
As a math and science major I really appreciated the humor relating to the mathematically inclined Givin species. All the interactions between them are gold.
