Narrator’s accent and pronunciation are dreadful.
Revisado: 04-13-25
Her Scottish accent is pure Ireland and pronunciation very grating. Cravat is pronounced “cravot” for some irritating reason. I’ll avoid this narrator in future.

Historia
Lady Grace Carpenter is ready to seize the day - or, rather, the night - with the most compelling man she's ever known. Marriage would mean losing guardianship of her beloved siblings, and surely no sane gentleman will take on seven children not his own. But if she can have one anonymous tryst with Mattheus, Earl of Worthington, Grace will be content to live out the rest of her life as a spinster.

I skimmed through this hoping it would improve but it didn’t. And I resolved never to listen to this narrator again—-exaggerated and annoying accent.

The exaggerated accent was distracting and annoying. Why, I ask, is “service” pronounced “sahvice” and “her” as “hah”. Bad elocution teacher?
