Historia
The Body on the T is the second book in the Windflower mystery series and it follows up on the highly acclaimed premiere, The Walker on the Cape. The story begins when a body washes up on a beach near Grand Bank, Newfoundland. There is no identification on the body and few clues to identify who the person was or where they came from. The case becomes the responsibility of Sgt. Winston Windflower of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and his trusted side-kick, Corporal Eddie Tizzard. But this is just the beginning.

A very dull story
Revisado: 02-17-23
This is a dull story about dull people engaged in stilted conversations and eating dull food. The writer should have really devoted more time to writing credible and engaging dialogues. The dialogues are often merely used to convey mundane information that can be easily inferred from the context of the story. The narrator tries but is not given a lot to work with here. The mystery itself is rather thin, especially given the amount of time it takes to tell the story.

Historia
Lo Blacklock, a journalist who writes for a travel magazine, has just been given the assignment of a lifetime: a week on a luxury cruise with only a handful of cabins. The sky is clear, the waters calm, and the veneered, select guests jovial as the exclusive cruise ship, the Aurora, begins her voyage in the picturesque North Sea. At first Lo's stay is nothing but pleasant: The cabins are plush, the dinner parties are sparkling, and the guests are elegant. But as the week wears on, frigid winds whip the deck, and gray skies fall.

Narrator ruins the story
Revisado: 07-25-16
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
Not sure because of the narrator.
Would you ever listen to anything by Ruth Ware again?
With a different narrator perhaps.
Would you be willing to try another one of Imogen Church’s performances?
Only if all the characters in the story are British and female. She cannot do other accents.
Any additional comments?
The narrator ruined the story for me. Her "Swedish" and "American" accents are painfully unconvincing and she makes all males sound like morons. I had to give up listening after a few chapters. It would have been much better if she'd used her normal accent and let the listener imagine a Swedish/American accent or male voice.
