Historia
Caleb Harken has spent six years wrongfully imprisoned for his father's treachery. Tortured and reviled by the very wolf pack he should have been leading as alpha, he is not surprised to learn he’s finally to meet his death at the hands of the human rebel leader, Taegan Callan. Taegan gave up his dreams of a life-mate and a family after seeing too many humans butchered at the hands of the wolves - even if Caleb doesn’t seem to be the bloodthirsty savage he expects.

I loved this story. I wasn't into the way Taegan was voiced. It just didn't feel right.

Sad and Sweet
Revisado: 11-13-18
This is one of the first romantic suspense books I ever read. and even though I don't read romantic suspense really anymore, I remembered this book and it was the first book on Audible I got.
A poor young pregnant woman is shot for seeing something she shouldn't and the detective that gets her case is drawn to her and does everything he can to protect her. It's a beautiful story.

Loved this book. I've read it 6 times since I bought it a few years ago. I had to have the audio when I got audible.

Historia
Prince Allen has trained his entire life to follow in the footsteps of his illustrious mother, who has made their kingdom one of the wealthiest and most influential in the empire. For the past few years he has trained to become the new consort of the High King. The only thing no one prepared him for was the stubborn, arrogant High King himself, who declares Allen useless and throws him out of court.

Love this book!! ❤️
Revisado: 11-13-18
First off the cover is the first thing that caught my attention, it's lovely.
I have to admit that when I see King or Prince in a title or summary, there is already a 50% chance I will want to read it.
Prince Allen is the youngest Prince of Gaulden trained to be the High King's Consort. He can handle most any intricacy of court life and is also a Silver Tongue, a master of 14 languages.
Sarrica is High King of Harken and all those countries in the Harken Empire. He doesn't want a new consort but if he has to have one he wants a warrior. To him Allen is simply a useless Songbird.
Allen works very hard to prove himself to Sarrica and to help him even though he either ignores Allen or is very rude on the few occasions they interact.
Sarrica doesn't realize what he had until Allen disappears. Is it too late?
Allen is a great character. He is a Kind and Generous person friendly to all even the lowliest of servant or Soldier. He's very intelligent but doesn't let it go to his head. He has the own insecurities and works to overcome them.
Serica is strong and a bit pig-headedand even though it's hard for him he eventually admits that he was wrong about Allen and accepts him completely.
This may be one of my all time favorite books.
There's it's just something about it.
