Historia
In the mist-shrouded lands of Scotland, where the veil between the worlds is as thin as a whisper, the ancient tales stir, breathing life into the shadows and the stones. These are stories woven from the fabric of the land itself—of its lochs and mountains, its forests and glens. They speak of love and loss, of courage and fear, of the unbreakable bonds that tie the human heart to the mystical.

A wonderful look at the ancient folklore of Scotland. So well narrated by a soothing voice, and written by an interesting chap.

A Timeless Voice of Nature and Reflection
Revisado: 02-20-25
There are few writers who can capture the quiet pulse of the world with such grace, such reverence, as William Henry Forester. His work, much like that of Whitman, moves with the rhythm of nature, the ebb and flow of tide and wind, the hush of twilight settling over a field. It is poetry in its purest form—not merely in structure, but in spirit.
Like Whitman, Forester embraces the world in all its fleeting beauty, yet where Whitman sings in sprawling, exuberant verse, Forester whispers, allowing silence to fill the spaces between words. His writing carries the weight of time, the patience of stone and sea, and the understanding that some things must be felt rather than explained.
There is a profound sense of presence in his work, a reminder that life is not simply what has been or what will be, but what lingers in the now—the flicker of a candle before dawn, the slow retreat of a tide, the way wind moves through trees as if carrying the voices of all who have passed beneath them.
To read Forester is to be reminded of the quiet truths we so often overlook. His writing does not demand, it does not rush—it simply is, much like the natural world he so lovingly renders. And in that stillness, in that breath between moments, he leaves us with something rare: not just words, but a feeling. A presence. A whisper that lingers long after the page is turned.
Like Whitman, Forester writes with the soul of the earth itself. But where Whitman sings, Forester listens. And in his listening, we hear something profound, something timeless—something we were always meant to remember.

What an amazing picture this book paints for children learning about acceptance and compassion. You can see the entire picture in your mind as the bee learns about the nature around her and how every flower has a unique story that adds to her understanding of life. Cannot recommend this enough!

Historia
In "The Willow, the Tortoise, and the Wheel," renowned author and researcher W. Sumner Davis brings his academic rigor and personal journey to explore the disconcerting paradox of our times: the coexistence of unprecedented material prosperity with a pervasive sense of discontentment and despair. Born into a rural farming community in 1960, Davis' early years were fraught with hardship. As a child grappling with undiagnosed Dyslexia and High Functioning Autism, Davis navigated a world of rejection at home and school, which would result in Complex Posttraumatic stress.

Not the original story

Terrible radical retailing.
Revisado: 07-12-23
Get the original. I grew up hearing the story, and to see that it has been turned into a progressive and radical Marxist-feminist Treaties is simply sad.
