Historia
On a hot summer night, a scientist from the Centers for Disease Control is grabbed by unknown assailants in a shopping center parking lot. Vanished into thin air, the authorities are desperate to save the doctor. One month later, the serenity of a sunny Sunday afternoon is shattered by the boom of a ground-shaking blast - followed by another seconds later. One of Atlanta's busiest and most important neighborhoods - the location of Emory University, two major hospitals, the FBI headquarters, and the CDC - has been bombed.

I have enjoyed this series immensely! Each audible has been fantastic and this was no different! I love IQ and the stories have pulled me in and kept me enthralled till the very end. And I must say Sullivan Jones is THE best narrator I’ve heard and I listen to a lot of audiobooks. He absolutely brings these stories alive! Amazing! I hope we are going to hear a lot more from IQ

Historia
With courage, grace, and powerful insight, bestselling author Kristin Hannah captures the epic panorama of World War II and illuminates an intimate part of history seldom seen: the women's war. The Nightingale tells the stories of two sisters, separated by years and experience, by ideals, passion and circumstance, each embarking on her own dangerous path toward survival, love, and freedom in German-occupied, war-torn France—a heartbreakingly beautiful novel that celebrates the resilience of the human spirit and the durability of women. It is a novel for everyone, a novel for a lifetime.

Amazing Story!
Revisado: 08-06-18
I have to say, this is one of my favorite books of all time! The book tells the story of two sisters in France during the German occupation in World War II. The sisters, Vianne and Isabelle, seemed to be total opposites. Isabelle wanted to fight and help her country win at all costs. Vianne had a very submissive personality and only wanted to keep her child safe and survive until her husband returned. But both of these sisters showed great bravery and ended up doing amazing things, each in their own way. I had never really thought about the lives of the women left behind as their men went off to fight, the struggles and hardships they faced, and this story blew me away. I was immediately drawn in and held captive by the story and the characters until the very end. I felt so many emotions while reading this novel, I shed tears of joy as well as tears of sorrow. Kristin Hannah is a master story teller. You can never go wrong with one of her books. This one gets my highest recommendation.

I need to hurry and finish the series so I can get some rest! I wont go into the details of the book. So good!
Revisado: 04-18-18
okay, The Night Stalker is the 2nd book of the Detective Erika Foster series. The 1st book took a little getting used to with the British accents and difference in words and phrases, but I'm starting to really like it. Also, the author, Bryndza is building his characters. I felt like I am getting to know them and becoming more invested in them. The case was a really good one and Erika Foster sure knows her business. I loved the book and immediately upon finishing, bought the next in the series.
This gets a high recommendation! Read ( or listen) to this series!

new series
Revisado: 04-18-18
Robert Bryndza is a new author for me and The Girl in the Ice is the first book of a series. It introduces Detective Erika foster who works in the London police. I must say I liked Erika but I felt very sorry for her as well as she had just lost her detective husband in a case and blamed herself. It was a very good police procedural and I think its going to be a good series. I'm definitely going to read the rest of them.
I highly recommend it.

Pretty little killers was a well written suspense novel and the audible only made it better. The story kept me guessing till the end, just like a good mystery should, Overall, it was good, not great, but good. Andi Arndt is one of the best narrators out there, though I think she has been over used.

Historia
When Casey first arrived at the off-the-grid town, an isolated community built as a haven for people running from their pasts, she had no idea what to expect, with no cell phones, no internet, no mail, and no way of getting in or out without the town council's approval. She certainly didn't expect to be the homicide detective on two separate cases or to begin a romantic relationship with her boss. But the very last thing she expected was for the council to drop a dangerous criminal into their midst without a plan to keep him imprisoned, and to keep others safe.

Never a dull moment in Rockton!
Revisado: 04-18-18
This is a great series! I have read all the books and really liked them all. The series is based on such an interesting premise, that Rockton is a secret town hidden in the wilderness and the residents are all hiding from something or someone who wants to do them harm. A good many of them are hiding from the law and so, are not the most law abiding citizens. Casey Duncan is a former police detective with secrets of her own and now is responsible for establishing law and order in this new town.
Loved the book! Everyone should read this series

wonder woman!
Revisado: 04-18-18
the woman left behind was a great book. The story begins with the main character Jina, being recruited to a paramilitary group because of her intelligence and tech abilities. But Jina finds she has to first qualify for the fitness training with the team leader, Ace. A romance begins between the two even though they both try to avoid it. The romance and team missions are both reasons to enjoy the book but the best part was the story of Jina becoming a determined, brave intelligent woman thru her participation in the team, and the realization that she was strong enough to do whatever she wanted in life. It was a great story and I highly recommend it.
