Historia
Lane Moore is a rare performer who is as impressive onstage - whether hosting her iconic show Tinder Live or being the enigmatic front woman of It Was Romance - as she is on the page, as both a former writer for The Onion and an award-winning sex and relationships editor for Cosmopolitan. But her story has had its obstacles, including being her own parent, living in her car as a teenager, and moving to New York City to pursue her dreams. Through it all, she looked to movies, TV, and music as the family and support systems she never had.

I purchased this book for a car trip and listened to it straight through. I was so engrossed I couldn’t stop and drove the entire night alternately laughing, crying, and sobbing. I still listen occasionally, especially to the last chapter. Thank you Lane!

Historia
The provocative best seller She's Not There is the winning, utterly surprising story of a person changing genders. By turns hilarious and deeply moving, Jennifer Finney Boylan explores the territory that lies between men and women, examines changing friendships, and rejoices in the redeeming power of family. Told in Boylan's fresh voice, She's Not There is about a person bearing and finally revealing a complex secret.

Essential

Thoughtful, sensitive, and humorous reading by Jenny Boylan. The afterward by Russo is just as thoughtful and helps deepen the meaning of Jenny's tale.
I'm just starting my third listening. It's that good.
