Would you try another book from Sylvia Day and/or Jill Redfield and Jeremy York ?

The performers were great. I normally enjoy Sylvia Day - but I believe this series has been unnecessarily dragged out and this book had to much filling of - he's so well endowed, he's so big; ACE, Angel, can't tolerate being without you, you are my life ....it is endless - we get it they are obsessed with each other, he's wealthy and well endowed and she is a goddess and they can't be without each other.

Would you ever listen to anything by Sylvia Day again?

Hmm not really - too repetitive.

What does Jill Redfield and Jeremy York bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

They are great - I've listened to many an audiobook by Jeremy York and they make the story come to life - it's the story that could be improved by cutting it down by a few thousand words.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

No.

This series could have been so much better - in the beginning the characters came to life, then they ended up being more caricatures.

If you could sum up Keep Me in three words, what would they be?

Raw, Real and Hot

What was one of the most memorable moments of Keep Me?

The sex scenes are hot - but Norah shooting Majid was awsome.

What about Roberto Scarlato and Shirl Rae ’s performance did you like?

They were very good - they actually added to to story - I've read the book but hey made it come to life, in a non-corny way.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Julian is a sociopath - he doesn't pretend to be anything else - he's real about it all. Norah is intelligent and acknowledges what has happened but is accepting of it. The characters have developed, they are not your "normal" couple but they are lovely to watch.

Well done - can't wait for the final book.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Some originality and a lead lady that actually has a backbone and doesn't vacillate for the sake of the author filling time in "though" dialogue.

Has The Gilded Cuff turned you off from other books in this genre?

Pretty much - it was a waste of a credit.

What happened to Book 4?

I have downloaded the series but there does not seem to be a Book 4 in the Audible version.

It is a great story - love it - very dark though it doesn't really raise much hope for mankind - but it is a great read.

I'm not sure Roy Dotrice's reading does justice to the characters in the book. His many voiced characters show he is a talented man but when Denarey's part is read I can't visualise a 15-16 year old girl. The characters all sound seedy - was that George Martin's intention?

Series should not torment

This is a series and should clearly be labeled as such. In reading book 2 I am no clearer about the fallen angel and Lucinda than I was when I read Book 1. Series should have a natural build up with substance this is repetitive and I feel I am in limbo. There is a whole history about Daniel and Lucinda - Lucinda is in an special angel offspring school - she is told people have read about their love story for centuries - and what she is not curious to read about it herself and discover more. One thing about Lucinda - she is not very bright...But I've read two - I will read the third and hopefully the last - cross my fingers there will be more substance to the next one..
