Historia
The Bobiverse is a different place in the aftermath of the Starfleet War, and the days of the Bobs gathering in one big happy moot are far behind. There’s anti-Bob sentiment on multiple planets, the Skippies playing with an AI time bomb, and multiple Bobs just wanting to get away from it all. But it all pales compared to what Icarus and Daedalus discover on their 26,000-year journey to the center of the galaxy.

Lost me a bit in the middle, but really landed the ending

And now I can’t wait for the next installment. I especially liked the original and big ideas that came to light towards the end. Also had me a few laughs.

Historia
How do you tell a real trend from the merely trendy? How, for example, will a technology—like artificial intelligence, machine learning, self-driving cars, biohacking, bots, and the Internet of Things—affect us, our businesses, and workplaces? How will it eventually change the way we live, work, play, and think—and how should we prepare for it now? In The Signals Are Talking, noted futurist Amy Webb shows us how to analyze the "true signals" and land on the right side of disruption.

Horrible performance makes this hard to follow.
Revisado: 10-07-22
I'm struggling to get past the first few chapters due to the narrator and her complete lack of understanding of how the sentences belong together.

Historia
Thirteen hundred gates have opened to solar systems around the galaxy. But as humanity builds its interstellar empire in the alien ruins, the mysteries and threats grow deeper. In the dead systems where gates lead to stranger things than alien planets, Elvi Okoye begins a desperate search to discover the nature of a genocide that happened before the first human beings existed and to find weapons to fight a war against forces at the edge of the imaginable. But the price of that knowledge may be higher than she can pay.

The one you have been waiting for
Revisado: 05-14-20
Although they have their bright moments the last two books were a chore for me to finish. I read that it was worth the wait for this book and boy was I right to wait. This has the combination of alien tech, galactic intrigues and mystery that the last two books have been missing. It also goes deeper into the lore of the aliens, which I have been waiting for since book 1. The excitement kept me listening for longer periods than I usually do. If you read this before reading book 6 and 7, get through them like I did, its worth the wait.

Although a little bit nice to see more of Lift
Revisado: 11-06-19
It was a little bit monotone and slow. Since it's somewhat important to the story ahead I would recommend it.

Historia
The folks in Mike Erikson's small New England town would say he's just your average, everyday guy. And that's exactly how Mike likes it. Sure, the life he's chosen isn't much of a challenge to someone with his unique gifts, but he's content with his quiet and peaceful existence. That is, until an old friend presents him with an irresistible mystery, one that Mike is uniquely qualified to solve.

Exciting but a little bit lacking in plot
Revisado: 10-21-18
Will try not to spoil anything here but: When I can deduce what is happening and going to happen for more than half the book after only 5 minutes, and it takes the characters a long time to get to the same conclusion (characters that are portrayed to be very smart), I can't help thinking that the author is just adding unnecessary length to the book for the fun of it. The plot is also a bit too dependant on a deus ex machina element.
Other than that it was exiting and introduced some elements I don't often find in similar books. Therefore I rate it 4 out of 6 stars. Narration was furthermore excellent.
