Historia
Dylan O’Connor is a gifted young artist just trying to do the right thing in life. He’s on his way to an arts festival in Santa Fe when he stops to get a room for himself and his twenty-year-old autistic brother, Shep. But in a nightmarish instant, Dylan is attacked by a mysterious “doctor,” injected with a strange substance, and told that he is now a carrier of something that will either kill him...or transform his life in the most remarkable way.

grating amount of description
Revisado: 12-05-24
Way too much inner dialog and description. A six second event could be happening.... and the characters would spend nearly 10 minutes of time describing it. It got to the point that I would leave the room to do a chore and come back 10 minutes later and not have missed anything because the character was STILL describing or narrating the thought process as they were diving from a bullet. Also, the one character going on about ice for an hour drove me insane. Multiple times I wanted to just skip ahead several minutes. But I have issues with quitting. lol.
This was my least favorite book from this author. But I enjoyed others so I will not hold it against him. :)
