Historia
How did Fidel Castro fool the CIA for a generation? Why did Neville Chamberlain think he could trust Adolf Hitler? Why are campus sexual assaults on the rise? Do television sitcoms teach us something about the way we relate to each other that isn't true? While tackling these questions, Malcolm Gladwell was not solely writing a book for the page. He was also producing for the ear. In the audiobook version of Talking to Strangers, you’ll hear the voices of people he interviewed - scientists, criminologists, military psychologists.

Malcolm Gladwell did it again. An amazing book that everyone must read. This is very revealing and thought-provoking. He incredibly ties the theme of “talking to strangers” and all of the inherent factors that contribute to these interactions-for better or worse. He not only integrated the themes and real life examples, but he does it so profoundly, as if we should’ve seen it happening there the whole time.

Great, succinct representation of youth sports culture

Great book about parenting through this sometimes difficult process with our children. Her stories were poignant and representative of what most of us can identify with, yet have never put words to. Very accurate rendition of this unique culture, yet she offered a welcoming perspective. She provided helpful tips in a simple, meaningful way.
