Amazing Analysis
Revisado: 08-21-22
This book is an amazing and profound analysis of the American food ways system. From the perspective of a diversified large-sized small farmer, Salatin shares political, nutritional and agricultural knowledge from over 50 years in the agricultural industry. This insightful, empowering and inspiring book should be read and debated at the college English and high school government levels. This book takes a divisive perspective on how American government plays a role in the hampering of individual rights of the citizen while exploring concepts of health, science, and the history of modern agricultural practices. This book takes the cake as hands down the best book I've listened to all year. If you enjoy 1984, this will be a nonfiction mail biter for US American society.

Only thing that might make it better would be a storyline, which it already somewhat has, so, no problema aqui. Esta un buen libro. iGracias a Earworms para la practica!

Not her best
Revisado: 12-20-20
Poor audio quality and one of the in instruments sounds more like staticky nails on a chalkboard than actually calming music. You can hardly beat her voice over the grinding and screeching. Normally I really line her as an artist, but I'd suggest just about ANY of her other works instead o.o

Stupendous
Revisado: 11-25-20
Finally someone who knows the language, the myth, the metaphor, and the history of the Bible and particularly the old testament explains in plain English what the majority of the text is actually saying, what other people think it means, and a reasoned argument for why the professor considers otherwise. I have never felt more at home listening to an examination of this text.

Fantastic
Revisado: 11-22-20
I've been meditating for years, but this is still a fantastic, simple refresher. It is designed for people new to meditation, but as implied above, a practitioner of any level can benefit t9 the "back to basics," simple approach this audiobook takes on.
It's short and sweet and will have you on your way, so just enjoy the experience as it happens. You'll be done in less than 10 minutes.

Focus on your breath and let the low and powerful reverberations of crystal bowls wash over you. Studies have shown these humming sounds allow your brainwaves to slow and shift from an active to relaxed state - a perfect precursor to deep sleep. In order to get the most out of your listening experience, pioneering sound therapist Sara Auster recommends you dim the lights and lie down or sit in a comfortable position with an eye mask and a blanket, silence any alerts or notifications, and use earphones.

It was good
Revisado: 11-22-20
Don't get me wrong. It was really well composed and the introduction was short and thoughtful.
It made my right ear itch. This is a problem if you're trying to use it to calm down. This may have been the fault of my headphones. I really can't know for sure until I decide to submit myself to multiple tests on the matter.
As of now, fantastic performance, counterintuitive side effects. Sorry :-(

Historia
"How did it all begin?" "What happens when we die?" These are just two of the questions Reverend Oliver "Buzz" Thomas hears centrist Christians asking as he travels across the United States, and he knows that their voices are not being heard. They're people of faith, not of politics, and they want more from their religion than a voter's guide.

Recommended for 2020
Revisado: 11-19-20
I bought this book a long time ago, scared to start it and find out I hated it or myself for listening, but also scared I'd never take the chance to listen to a Christian perspective without being forced to. I recommend this book to EVERYONE.
It's post-election right now in the US in 2020. Racial, religious and political tensions are high. Xenophobia is rampant on all ebds of the spectrum. The world needs to hear this book right now.
It is well researched, thoughtful, and inclusive of opinions on Christian, Jewish and Muslim interpretations of the Bible, explaining why they exist and how they got there. The author is very well versed on linguistics and doesn't make anyone feel stupid for not being fluent in Aramaic. He explains the history and poetry of the Bible, presents multiple schools of thought open for interpretation and does so succintly enough to finish the whole book in a single day at a liesurely pace.
This book is fantastic. Read it now. Later may be too late.

Grossly Abridged
Revisado: 09-06-20
I mean, Seligman is fantastic. If you're not going to read the book, this is the next best thing, but as a college student attempting to stay focused by listening to the book while following along? Entire pages are skipped abd you can tell what parts they took out: ANYTHING with a cringe factor, despite the fact that these cringy subjects are half the ctedibility of this text. Be fairly warned: this is NOT an unabridged audiobook for the original text. It is a grossly edited, over produced puff piece that masqerades as the titular book which was a landmark turning point in the entire process of psychological thought, study, and practice. This audiobook in an inaccurate shame at representing fair distribution of information. Shame on the producer and publisher of "this program" for sacrificing credibility in the pursuit of populist sales.
