Disappointing
Revisado: 01-18-24
I was looking forward to this book because Patterson has always been great. But the characters in this book did not catch my interest. They were boring or at least I didn’t care about them. And the story was boring too. I guess I’m spoiled by other mystery action books.

Historia
On a cold November evening, Guido Brunetti and Paola are up late when a call from his colleague Ispettore Vianello arrives, alerting the Commissario that a hand has been seen in one of Venice’s canals. The body is soon found, and Brunetti is assigned to investigate the murder of an undocumented Sri Lankan immigrant. Because no official record of the man’s presence in Venice exists, Brunetti is forced to use the city’s far richer sources of information: gossip and the memories of people who knew the victim.

Good but…
Revisado: 04-29-22
The story by Terry Pratchett is a wonderful and amazing as always. It is easy to listen to it over and over and a new narrator seems like an additional way to enjoy the book. But I enjoyed the first release with Celia Emory more. The different narration doesn’t add anything and I do not think it is worth it to purchase the new edition. Knowing what I know now I would have spent my money on something else.

Revisado: 09-17-21
I hate to criticize someone, but I feel I should be honest and say that the narration of this book was horrible. It was slow and monotonous with awkward pauses and emphasis in places that don’t seem to fit or flow. The story was nice, not the best but I enjoyed it and the cha

I think this book has a lot of good content but unless you already have self control and will power it will just frustrate. If you happen to have any mental abnormalities like ADD, ADHD, Anxiety issue, depression, etc this might just make you feel more helpless and overwhelmed.

Historia
An epic urban fantasy novella inspired by ancient Roman festivals, Parisian cabaret theater, and the Roaring '20s. Saturnalia in Aufleur is a time of topsy-turvy revels, of the world turned upside down and transformed before your eyes. The city’s theaters produce an annual display of reversals, surprises, and transformations. In Aufleur, flappers can transform into wolves. Even the rats are not what they seem.
