It’s a whole new Holmes!

I love the Enola Holmes mystery. Totally different angle with a generous nod to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle‘s classics. Book 5 in this series draws the series 2 and impressive close.

Ten excited guests arrive at the Westlake Estate, expecting a lavish retreat. They are the winners of a sweepstakes to "Live Like a Billionaire for a Week." But what was supposed to be a promising escape soon turns into a horrific nightmare. Within hours of arrival, the guests sit down for an extravagant dinner. well performed, but without true motive.
Revisado: 03-13-18
well the TV show is believable as a game with a quarter million dollar prize, the book pills much much darker and without motive in the end.

It's a radical, provocative idea: We're not entitled to get offended or stay angry. The idea of our own "righteous anger" is a myth. It is the number-one problem in our societies today and, as Dallas Willard says, Christians have not been taught out of it.

I listened to this book every day in my way in to teach middle schoolers for 2 months and it transformed my year. So grateful for the Scripture-based wisdom given in it!
