Problem with narration - Inconsistent volume

I will be returning this. The volume has to be constantly adjusted. I thought at first it was a technical issue but then realized it's the narrator. He gets louder and softer during the reading. And for my taste is overly dramatized. I do like some dramatic version readings of the bible but very few are done well for my personal preferences and would rather do with just a reading for the reason. When they are over done, its annoying and deflects from hearing the content. In this case, the narrator gets excited and loud and then fades out and away so that you have to turn the volume up to hear him only to have to again turn it down when he gets loud again. I could never make it through this entire book for that reason.

What was most disappointing about E. Randolph Richards and Brandon J. O'Brien ’s story?
The sample audio led me to believe I would learn a lot about the historic meaning of some of the Bible's mysteries. I was disappointed. It was nothing I expected and not worth the time to listen.
