Worth wading through the slow start
Revisado: 11-21-23
The first few chapters don't immediately grasp your attention or really explain where you are and what is coming. By about Chapter 10 you are intrigued, around 15 things speed up and keep your attention to the end.

Historia
Ross Edgley famously ran a marathon pulling a 1.4-tonne car and climbed a rope the height of Everest (8,848 m), after living with Yamabushi warrior monks in Japan and partaking in Shamanic pain rituals with fire ants in the Amazon jungle. On his epic 1,780-mile journey around Great Britain, which lasted 157 days, Ross swam through giant jellyfish, arctic storms, ‘haunted’ whirlpools and polluted shipping lanes, going so hard, and so fast, his tongue fell apart.

Fantastic delivery of information.
Revisado: 09-27-21
I've heard about this book for most of my life, infact I remember playing the board game as a kid, however I somehow managed to never read it. At a certain point I wrote it off as old news and figured all the countless other financial/success books I had read would have covered the same principles. That is partially true, there wasn't anything revolutionary, however the delivery is key, the fact that it's told/taught as a story and the chapter sumeries make it stand out and help key tactics sink in.

Incredible story with great insight into the world of investment banking. A lot to take away from this one. Being a small business owner it really helps to hear about the top of the scale of financial transactions.
