The Talmud says: “If someone comes to kill you, rise up and kill him first.” This instinct to take every measure, even the most aggressive, to defend the Jewish people is hardwired into Israel’s DNA. From the very beginning of its statehood in 1948, protecting the nation from harm has been the responsibility of its intelligence community and armed services, and there is one weapon in their vast arsenal that they have relied upon to thwart the most serious threats: Targeted assassinations have been used countless times, on enemies large and small....

Filled with sharply drawn, emotionally powerful senses, Walk Through Fire traces the hardships Sheila faced in her marriage and her professional life. Despite her skills as a violinist and music teacher, as well as her obvious entrepreneurial talent, she had to fight to overcome self-doubt and fears of failure. Sheila vividly details her struggles, including battling institutional racism, losing a child, suffering emotional abuse in her thirty-three-year marriage, and plunging into a deep depression with her divorce. And yet, out of that pain came renewed purpose and meaning.

Very Detailed
Revisado: 10-19-23
Peace I was very intrigued by the title of the book, thinking it would be about this power couple and was disappointed at how her ex husband allegedly treated her.
This is her truth. I cannot change that reality. It hit me like a train going into a wall. I never ever ever ever would have thought they went through this. 🙏🏾 I was sad to learn she suffered so much but I kept saying to myself “we teach people how to treat us” and “I hope this will make you leave” but she didn’t until she did.
What I do know is that if she had not gone through this great pain, “the gift nobody wants”, she wouldn’t be where she is today. 💞
I can still hear the pain she still feels as she recalls her life. I am glad that “after difficulty came ease”.
Much success to you Sheila and thank you for releasing. 💞💞

POWERFUL Great read for EMPTY NESTERS
Revisado: 10-13-22
This book is a must for empty nesters to read. The way he honors his parents is so heartwarming. It's vindication for parents to know we did our best and that despite our limitations our children are learning from our mistakes, and limited resources and growing beyond where we were.
It's very inspirational and it busted up my old mindset. It's never too late to achieve your goals. The lessons in the book are for anyone who wants to grow.
I also want to give the book to my adult son, nieces, nephews, and millennials in general.

Inspirational a must read for young women & girls
Revisado: 10-12-22
Praise Allah (God) Thank You, Sister Tabitha, this was one of the BEST books I have read/listened to in my life.
Sometimes, I drive Uber, and today I chose to listen to the book and everyone loved it. Many came into my car when you were giving out the recipes. One brother said, "Are you going to make that recipe from the radio". I said no (LOL) this is Tabitha Brown the Inspirational and Motivational Speaker and Vegan Chef.
To my surprise, they hadn't heard of you. I recommended the book and suggested they look you up.
ALL and I mean ALL of them said, it was inspiring. You can hear their comments, "hmmm, okay, I that's right, etc."
This is a must read especially for young women and girls.

Why???

I was thoroughly enjoying the story until the last chapter. So many ways to end the story. Just didn’t like that angle but I guess that’s what you wanted to write. Surely another ending would have made for riveting part 2......

This book was recommended by a friend. Initially I was like, I am not anxious, but I took her advise and I am glad I did.
I now realize that I didn’t understand how toxic anxiety was and is. For me it was learning how to observe my thinking and behavior with from another angle.
Excellent for teens and millennials.

I liked that is was short and I liked her voice, but honestly, I didn't learn anything new. I was hoping to use this a reference for my business, but it was just basic points, nothing profound. Not worth the money and it ended abruptly,
