Historia
Few management ideas have spread so far and so wide as the Net Promoter System (NPS). Created by author and loyalty guru Fred Reichheld, companies across the spectrum have adopted it - from industrial giants such as Mercedes-Benz and Cummins Engine to Silicon Valley sweethearts such as Apple and Google to digital innovators like Warby Parker and Peloton.

Title says it all. If you're a brain dead liberal you'll love it. If not don't waste your time.

Historia
In the first volume in the Penguin History of the United States series, edited by Eric Foner, Alan Taylor challenges the traditional story of colonial history by examining the many cultures that helped make America, from the native inhabitants from millennia past through the decades of Western colonization and conquest and across the entire continent, all the way to the Pacific coast.

Liberals will love it, not much actual history.
Revisado: 10-29-22
If you want a distorted view of American beginnings this is the fictional version for you. Waste of paper otherwise. If you’re a liberal you’ll swallow the crap lock stock and barrel. If you want factual history look elsewhere.

Historia
The year is 2380. The Intersolar Commonwealth, a sphere of stars some 400 light-years in diameter, contains more than 600 worlds, interconnected by a web of transport "tunnels" known as wormholes. At the farthest edge of the Commonwealth, astronomer Dudley Bose observes the impossible: Over 1,000 light-years away, a star...vanishes. It does not go supernova. It does not collapse into a black hole. It simply disappears.

First time I have had to force myself to listen to a book
Revisado: 01-22-19
I have spent a long time thinking about why I didn’t completely enjoy this book/performance. What I have concluded is that it was just a perfect storm. The narrator seems (to me at least) like he is hardly interested and is just going through the motions. The content itself is highly interesting and sparks my imagination but bounces around so much that I lose focus on where the performer is in the reading; might be due to either or, or even both the narrator and/or content. Sorry if this seems unclear but I guess it’s just hard to explain.
