Started off strong and I was really enjoying the first book second book just completely glazed over and while the third book felt more interesting to read. Ultimately I was OK not reading a fourth book if one had ever existed.

Endless whining and painfully slow

Love it so much I’m itching for the next one

My headline says it all. I love it. It is not even my typical genre. The reader was perfect and with such a diversity in her voice which allowed a separation in all the equally diverse characters. Each character was given enough time and opportunities to be a given a deep wealth of information and you feel for each one. Even though the main two characters are super annoying in their own right you want to root them on whether in life or death. It’s not till the very end that the two main characters even connect so that’s a little frustrating. But of course I have read ahead and my frustrations have been quelled. Can’t wait till volume two of this mammoth of a series.

Really gripping story!

Enjoyable but slow

It started off going pretty fast and enjoyable. And about mid way through I was thinking to myself “I really want to like this book.” I loved the protagonist and even the characters surrounding her and the issues that she was dealing with but it just seemed like there was some dead space in between. A little repetitious at times. But I did find the story interesting and I wanted to know more so I finished the book and looking forward to the next one. I recommend it to anyone who has the patience and just enjoys listening to a good story. I would not call it a page turner but certainly you will be rooting for the main character.
