Very informative and with a practical guide

The book discussed the impact of narcissistic abuse on a person, the victim. It delved into the ideas and suggestions on coping oneself in a given situation of being abused. The Author suggested some practical steps/techniques on how to develop and improve one’s self-esteem. As it pointed out, it is essential to recognize the effects of this type of abuse and move forward to a healing journey. Apply the fight and flight mode when you are in such a situation and live a life as an emotionally healthy person.
This book only dealt with the victims' point of view, how to cope with narcissistic abuse, and become a healthy person. I would instead want to see some practical solutions on approaching the problem of Narcissism in our family, circle of friends and community.
For me, the holistic approach to the problem of Narcissism is to address the narcissistic behavioural problem of the person directly. What is the help needed to eliminate narcissistic abuses at home, workplaces or community? Narcissists are also victims who need help. Maybe this can be explored in the next book—just an opinion.

This book is an eye-opener for those who want to venture into Vacation Rental business. Owning and managing this type of business is not an easy task. There will be lots of challenges ahead. However, if you are passionate about it, the ideas or information being put forward in this book are advantageous. These are practical inputs from the author, who have a good background and experience in this business.
The author delved into the fundamental concepts of vacation rental property ownership and management, highlighting the bottom line-Profit.
I highly recommend this book to those who would like to venture into this business and those in the industry already but struggling to reach their bottom line.

4. Philosophical Thinking -Great book

The book’s central theme is around human existentialism with clear reference to the philosophical thoughts of ancient philosophers up to the contemporary period.
The five thought experiments as presented by the author are not exhaustive, though, but attempts to amplify the significance of human thought patterns. These are the processes by which we are encouraged to develop to create and recreate a positive perspective moving forward in our life.
Some great philosophical thinking from known philosophers during the Ancient to Contemporary periods was cited to reaffirm that our thoughts, beliefs, perceptions of our existence, and the Supreme Being (the Invisible Gardener) can be directed toward a positive perspective. Spirituality, morality, happiness, knowledge and free will are the core elements of our existence in this world.
To my understanding, our existence becomes meaningful only upon realizing that there is an Ultimate Being, that we are in oneness with the universe and the natural world we live in.
I find this book very interesting, and I would highly recommend it.

Suspense Story

The story is so intense and full of suspense. The author- E.M.G. Wixley, put the storyline in a gradual phasing/development so that the readers will be fully engrossed in the suspense and thrill scenes.
The book's overall theme reflects the day-to-day life experiences of people in the family and community. One particular character I like most is Angelica. She was portrayed as a woman/mother with solid determination and the goal that her son will get back to normality.
The thrill and suspense were highlighted by how the narrator projected his voice coupled with well-chosen backgrounds. Very well narrated by Nigel Peever. I highly recommend this book.

Awesome Story

This book has a terrific story. It depicts a family drama, relationship and tragedy. It’s a bit dragging though initially; however, the author tries to complement it with exciting, descriptive sceneries with the tragic ending.
The narration was professionally done. It highlights exciting scenarios in the story. It presents a thematic approach to the events and situations of the entire narrative.
Anyone keen on family drama, this book is very much recommended.

An Interesting Story

I find the book very interesting to listen to. The author ( E.M.G. Wixley) tried to depict the main character with PTSD, whose life experience a lesson to learn. It is an invitation for us to understand people with PTSD accept them and of course help them. Other characters and scenes in the story are well pictured and very descriptive.
Nigel Peever narrated the book very skillfully. There are emphasis or highlights on various emotional reactions toward people and situations.
