Abridged book aside, this is one of the best novels in the Expanded Universe. Jacen’s journey sees him explore the mysteries of the Force and uncover secrets of the Yuuzhan Vong. Along the way he is guided by a former Jedi and a legend is born in a final sacrifice. Read it.

I’ve read this book a number of times, it’s one of the best in the EU, but Daniel Davis’ performance makes this a must-listen. His voice and Luceno’s writing makes for a perfect team for one of the best books written in the Star Wars universe.
