I am so sick of this as a trope- we know the bad guy is bad leave the dog alone also human torture rape imprisonment and military tactics should be listed as trigger alerts. For me it just the dog!

I have listen to this series over 20 times I love the story the reader and the characters. I find that focusing on murderbotts issues helps me de stress and relax. I only wish there were more.

This book should come with a few trigger warnings

Torture is a mainstay through this book along with many deaths, killings, rape (of a man by) and despair. After reading other's reviews I just thought I must have gotten the wrong book- this was sooooooo dark and depressing and sad and it just keeps going kicking the main character down in all ways. I do not recommend this to anyone who has these experiences as the writer is gifted enough to make them seem very real.

What made the experience of listening to Thunderhead the most enjoyable?

The story just grips you then slows down gets philosophical, make you think a bit and connect to the time and place drawing you in.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Thunderhead?

warning for animal lovers- I wish could un-hear it

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I wish I had been forewarned that this story included graphic and very upsetting description of animal abuse, suffering and death. I was not prepared and would never have bought it if I had known.

If you are an animal lover you might be as upset as I am about the detail descriptions about the abuse and death in this book,

Reader does a voice over for the ships IA that is just awful.

What did you like best about TFS Ingenuity? What did you like least?

The plot line in not very interesting sounds like the same old spaceship war story but with less interesting characters. I have no idea why the author spent what feeling like 1/2 the book describing the ship coming into the space port and landing yawn!!. and about 2 min on the actual battle. I was very disappointment in the lack of imagination and character development in this book.

What does Jeffrey Kafer bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I love hearing Jeffery read space sagas but that did not save this story
