Historia
The whole of Western natural philosophy is undergoing a sea change, forced upon us by the experimental findings of quantum theory. At the same time, these findings have increased our doubt and uncertainty about traditional physical explanations of the universe's genesis and structure. Biocentrism completes this shift in worldview, turning the planet upside down again with the revolutionary view that life creates the universe instead of the other way around.

0 evidence for this "groundbreaking" crap
Revisado: 04-05-20
Spends half the book stroking his ego and the other half using names of famous scientists to try to get you to accept his ideas, for which he presents 0 evidence. Really disappointed, but I should have expected as much since he isn't a physicist. Don't waste your time or money.

Historia
When and how did the universe begin? Why are we here? What is the nature of reality? Is the apparent “grand design” of our universe evidence of a benevolent creator who set things in motion—or does science offer another explanation? In The Grand Design, Stephen Hawking and Leonard Mlodinow present the most illuminating scientific thinking about these and other abiding mysteries of the universe, in nontechnical language marked by brilliance and simplicity.

Very good but also a bit confusing at times. I'll be listening to it again to get more from it

Historia
In this rich, irreverent, and compelling history, Nobel Prize-winning physicist Steven Weinberg takes us across centuries, from ancient Miletus to medieval Baghdad and Oxford, from Plato's Academy and the Museum of Alexandria to the cathedral school of Chartres and the Royal Society of London. He shows that the scientists of ancient and medieval times not only did not understand what we understand about the world--they did not understand what there is to understand or how to understand it.

Doesn't work on my computer
Revisado: 11-30-16
The book wouldnt play on my computer which was frustrating. I really liked the book, extremely informative. Cited sources and explained everything in great detail. Could have done without the jab to religion because I wanted someone else to listen to this but there's no way they would with that jab.
