Historia
One of the main topics of cultural conversation during the last decade was the supposed "fertility crisis" and whether modern women could figure out a way to have it all - a successful, demanding career and the required 2.3 children - before their biological clocks stopped ticking. Now, however, conversation has turned to whether it's necessary to have it all (see Anne-Marie Slaughter) or, perhaps more controversial, whether children are really a requirement for a fulfilling life.

Am I the only sane childfree woman in here?

Am I the only sane childfree woman in here?
Revisado: 09-29-15
As a 42 year-old childfree woman, I thought I'd listen to people like me and maybe learn a few tricks on how to cope with judgement from society. After a while, it became obvious that almost all of these authors have had a sad childhood, have been abused, beaten or had a crazy mother. They all spent years in therapy, some of them have been diagnosed with severe depression or other mental illness. I thought it was a book about normal, childfree people who happened to be authors. Instead, it's a book about mentally sick and unstable writers who happen to be childfree and talk endlessly about their mental state. I finished the book thinking that never having suffered myself from depression, it makes me really, really weird. Is being sane and childfree normal?

Historia
It was one of the most famous romances of the 20th century - Europe's most eligible bachelor, Prince Rainier of Monaco, and America's most beautiful movie star, the Academy Award-winning actress Grace Kelly, fell in love against the backdrop of the closest thing the modern world has to a magical kingdom, the French Riviera's Principality of Monaco. Grace of Monaco takes listeners beneath the surface glitz and the glamour of Monte Carlo for a never-to-be-forgotten portrait of the House of Grimaldi.

I thought the book was about Grace Kelly
Revisado: 01-21-15
Would you try another book from Jeffrey Robinson and/or Jeffrey Robinson?
Probably not, this one was such a huge deception for me.
Would you ever listen to anything by Jeffrey Robinson again?
I don't think I'll take another chance, or at least I would make sure to read all the reviews before buying it.
What didn’t you like about Jeffrey Robinson’s performance?
Half the book is not even about Grace Kelly. I was expecting a real bio but I got the history of european politicians, the complete history of Monaco, the story of Aristote Onasis, an interview with prince Rainier... The title of the book is Grace Kelly : The true story. It should have been :The story of Monaco and its people and a few things about princess Grace.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
The author is well informed, he seems credible.

They were just kids when they stumbled upon the horror of their hometown. Now, as adults, none of them can withstand the force that has drawn them all back to Derry, Maine, to face the nightmare without end, and the evil without a name.

Steven Weber is amazing
Revisado: 11-20-13
If you could sum up It in three words, what would they be?
Best King ever!
Who was your favorite character and why?
Well, Pennywise, of course. He's scary and creepy but very wise, sarcastic and funny too.
What about Steven Weber’s performance did you like?
Steven Weber should be the only person allowed to read audiobooks. He's that good. He brings every character to life, his performance is just amazing.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Well, 44 hours is a little long... I'd need a week off!
Any additional comments?
To me, "It" is the best Stephen King novel. I read it many years ago but from now I'll stick with the audio version.
