Historia
In 1970s Baltimore, 14-year-old Mary Jane loves cooking with her mother, singing in her church choir, and enjoying her family’s subscription to the Broadway Showtunes of the Month record club. Shy, quiet, and bookish, she’s glad when she lands a summer job as a nanny for the daughter of a local doctor. A respectable job, Mary Jane’s mother says. In a respectable house.

Historia
There are two sides to every story: yours and mine, ours and theirs, his and hers. Which means someone is always lying. When a woman is murdered in Blackdown, a quintessentially British village, newsreader Anna Andrews is reluctant to cover the case. Detective Jack Harper is suspicious of her involvement, until he becomes a suspect in his own murder investigation. Someone isn’t telling the truth, and some secrets are worth killing to keep.

More sad than thrilling
Revisado: 04-13-22
I enjoy the narrators a lot but this story wasn’t as good as Rock Paper Scissors. I did enjoy the story but it was almost too sad. It was honestly more sad and disturbed than thrilling. I felt bad for Catherine and after everything she had to go through in her life, she really didn’t deserve that.

Sinister and creepy
Revisado: 04-08-22
This was such a good telling of the story, the narrators did such a good job. Their narration really made the book feel extra creepy. I think I probably enjoyed it more than if I had read it. I definitely appreciated the twists at the end. One of which had me gasping.

Historia
Sometimes you meet people who are out of this world, so you make them a part of yours. A one-night stand born from vengeance in a foreign land. An explosive chemistry neither of us could deny. We signed a contract on the back of a Boar’s Head Pub napkin that said if we ever met again, we would drop everything and be together. Eight years and thousands of miles later, he’s here. In New York. And he’s America’s music obsession.

Revisado: 04-05-22
Joe Arden is amazing. The females impression of Malakey drove me INSANEEEEEEEEEE. It was SO BAD.
Anyways the story was good, i loved the whole napkin bit, I LOVED Mal, I just think maybe it was a little long.
The break through scenes “the napkin, the chocolate bar” I was laughing so hard.

Historia
I wasn’t supposed to be on that roof on Valentine’s Day. Neither was Kellan Marchetti, the school’s designated freak. We met on the verge of ending our lives. Somehow, the tattered strings of our tragedies tangled and tightened into an unlikely bond. We decided not to take the plunge and agreed to check on each other every Valentine’s Day until school ended. Same time. One roof. Two restless souls. We kept our promise for three years.

So boring and so long
Revisado: 03-31-22
I love Ava Erickson so I will listen to any of her books, that said this book is so BORING. The only interesting portion is with kellen and Lottie. The whole middle chunk is so boring. I don’t care about Tate at all. I don’t care about Terry or Leah. This book has too much plot and none of it is interesting.

Historia
The first time I met Ian Kemp in the sparkling blue waters of St. Thomas, I was six years old, and we shared a summer beneath the stars. The second time I met Ian Kemp, he was a shell of the boy I once knew. Turbulent and infuriating, he refused my friendship at every turn. Like me, he was a casualty of life’s cruelty, but we were planets apart. We’d both sought refuge on the island, hoping to find our anchor. Instead, we found each other and managed to reclaim our stars...until we both got swept away.

Female narration is horrible
Revisado: 03-28-22
I always sample audio books to make sure I enjoy the voices, and the guys is great! He does such a good job, and they only use his voice in the sample.
Whoever this female is, it’s terrible. She does a horrible Minnesotan accent for her friend which sounds more New Jersey. She does some weird accent for the man that’s supposed to be South African that sounds New Jersey about half way through. The man doesn’t even do an accent for his character so that’s weird.
It’s just bad and making me hate this book. I loved drive, I loved ravenhood… but this is something else. I’m going to have to DNF.

She did a good job and she reminded me so much of Ellen Pompeo it was crazy. But there are SO many characters in this series. Why does she have to voice them all?

Historia
Kailyn Flowers was always calm, rational, and controlled—until she ended up sprawled all over Daxton Hughes, the former actor she totally crushed on as a teenager. Then she did the unthinkable: She became a mortifying fangirl in five seconds flat, which may or may not have included professing her undying love. And oddly, he didn't run away. In fact, their meet cute led to a friendship she never saw coming. Of course, she never saw his betrayal coming, either....
