Historia
People are leaving the church J. D. Greear pastors. Big givers. Key volunteers. Some of his best leaders and friends. And that's exactly how he wants it to be. When Jesus gave his disciples the Great Commission, he revealed that the key for reaching the world with the Gospel is found in sending, not gathering. Though many churches focus time and energy on attracting people and counting numbers, the real mission of the church isn't how many people you can gather.

Increasingly, leaders recognize the benefit of multi-ethnic organizations and are compelled to hire diverse individuals, who will help them reflect a new America. In his address at a Global Leadership Summit, Bryan Loritts challenged leaders to have a vision that is about more than the stuff that perishes - to have a vision for making sacrifices that make a difference and help to bring about transformation in the lives of others.

Our minds are conditioned to create chaos. They often convince us to quit long before we reach our goals. Unless we can gain awareness and interrupt these "chaos" scripts early, they will consume our thoughts and drive us towards decisions we will regret. This book will give you the ability to open your awareness, apply several tools to calm the chaos, and increase the momentum towards your goals.

Historia
More than any other sports figure, Vince Lombardi transformed football into a metaphor for the American experience. The nine seasons during which he led the Green Bay Packers to five world championships is the most storied period in NFL history. Lombardi became a legend, a symbol to many of leadership, discipline, perseverance, and teamwork, and to others of an obsession with winning. Maraniss captures the myth and the man, football, God, and country in a thrilling biography that has become an American classic.

Vince Lombardi
Revisado: 01-08-23
Great book!!! Vince was far from perfect, as we all are, but he was a man that gave coaching his all to his team and players. Great men such as Coach Lombardi are few and far between. Reading this book reminds us that we are short lived and give all we can each day.

For David Goggins, childhood was a nightmare--poverty, prejudice, and physical abuse colored his days and haunted his nights. But through self-discipline, mental toughness, and hard work, Goggins transformed himself from a depressed, overweight young man with no future into a US Armed Forces icon and one of the world's top endurance athletes. The only man in history to complete elite training as a Navy SEAL, Army Ranger, and Air Force tactical air controller, he went on to set records in numerous endurance events.

Historia
In We Will Not Be Silenced, Dr. Erwin W. Lutzer prepares you to live out your convictions against a growing tide of hostility. Gain a better understanding of nonbelievers' legitimate hurts and concerns regarding issues like racism, sexism, and poverty - and identify the toxic responses secular culture disguises as solutions. In the process, you'll see how you can show compassion and gentleness to those outside of the faith without affirming their beliefs.

Excellent book except
Revisado: 03-16-22
This is an excellent book every American should read. The only issue I have is he support Law Enforcement a little to much. He states there are only one or two bad apples here and there but I could show him thousands upon thousands of videos that support there are a lot more than one or two here and there.
He confused “defunding” the police as riding the police. However, 99% when speaking of defunding mean reallocating of funds. Why should any law enforcement agency have weapons of war? Are they at war with Americans?
Also he speaks of unjust and just laws and even quotes the late Dr Martin Luther King. He obviously, hasn’t done research on the over 1 million laws in America to understand most are actually unjust and are out of harmony with moral law or the law of GOD.
Definitely a book all should read but I am sending a challenge to the author, Erin W. Lutzer, to conduct more research of our unjust criminal justice system and our unjust laws. If he would like to sit down and have a discussion I would enjoy the dialogue in order to present the facts of a system he blindly supports.
