Historia
In the aftermath of the 2020 presidential election, Donald Trump and many around him, including certain other elected Republican officials, intentionally breached their oath to the Constitution: they ignored the rulings of dozens of courts, plotted to overturn a lawful election, and provoked a violent attack on our Capitol.

EVERY American should read this book
Revisado: 12-09-23
Liz Cheney is a profile in courage. This book is phenomenal yet scary. I had to pause the book multiple times and walk away because my blood pressure was rising. Donald Trump is a blight on democracy. A delusional buffoon that placed so many people in danger. Cheney bravely calls out the cronies that fueled the madness as well. Its incomprehensible to me that Trump is once again running for office. EVERY American needs to read this book prior to their vote. Conservatives have far better options at the moment. I’m hoping they do the right thing and move on from the MAGA movement.

Packed with new reporting, Tired of Winning: Donald Trump and the End of the Grand Old Party tracks Trump’s improbable journey from disgraced and defeated former president to the dominant force, yet again, in the Republican Party. From his exile in Mar-a-Lago, Donald Trump has become more extreme, vengeful, and divorced from reality than he was on January 6, 2021. His meddling damaged the GOP’s electoral prospects and his legal troubles were mounting. Yet he re-emerged as the frontrunner for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, and the president-elect.

A BRILLIANT YET ALARMING READ
Revisado: 11-18-23
I just finished the Karl’s book. It’s a phenomenal read. I believe EVERY American should read this book prior to voting in the next election. Karl’s book further solidifies that Trump is ‘barley sane’, a narcissist, questionably intelligent and a true danger to democracy. Trump simply can’t be handed a 2nd term. His focus would be on nothing but retribution. Republicans have far better options. One can only pray they wake up and support a sane candidate. It’s unfathomable to me that a vapid lunatic that led an insurrection could run, once again, for the president of the United States. Karl’s book is a voyage through nearly indescribable and frightening events throughout Trump’s presidency. Pick it up today.

Historia
Ever since a childhood visit to Washington, DC, Cassidy Hutchinson aspired to serve her country in government. Raised in a working-class family with a military background, she was the first in her immediate family to graduate from college. Despite having no ties to Washington, Hutchinson landed a vital position at the center of the Trump White House.

The perfect pathology of Donald Trump
Revisado: 10-10-23
I've read a myriad of books about the chaotic Trump administration. This is the first book I've read from a member of the administration that went from admiration to major skepticism. Whether you like or dislike Hutchinson, I truly admire her bravery to 'speak out' and emphasize that to the Republican party that it has to move on from Trump and the MAGA movement. Kudos to Hutchinson for saying what's obvious but very difficult for many cowardly politicians on the right: Trump directly caused January 6th.

Historia
We all witnessed some of the most shocking and confounding political events of our lifetime: the careening last stage of Donald J. Trump’s reelection campaign, the president’s audacious election challenge, the harrowing mayhem of January 6, the buffoonery of the second impeachment trial. But what was really going on in the inner sanctum of the White House during these calamitous events? What did the president and his dwindling cadre of loyalists actually believe? And what were they planning?

Ineptitude, Madness, Chaos: Donald Trump
Revisado: 07-21-21
This book is outstanding. Well written. Compelling. The topic was incredibly disturbing. I was cognizant that the previous administration was pure chaos (record turnover) and inept but listening to the details in the book paint a clear and vivid picture. Its hard to comprehend that 30 to 40% of the country would support the ‘Mad King’.

Historia
Since the day Donald Trump was elected, his critics warned that an unexpected crisis would test the former reality-television host - and they predicted that the president would prove unable to meet the moment. In 2020, that crisis came to pass, with the outcomes more devastating and consequential than anyone dared to imagine. Nightmare Scenario is the complete story of Donald Trump’s handling - and mishandling - of the COVID-19 catastrophe, during the period of January 2020 up to Election Day that year.

Trump: The wrong man at the wrong time. Period.
Revisado: 07-09-21
This is a phenomenal book. A book about politics, the pandemic and staggering ineptitude that led to thousands upon thousands of deaths. The previous administrations mismanagement of the pandemic was in full sight for all of America to see. This book does an amazing job outlining the myriad of issues that led to the astounding failure. Trump was the wrong man at the wrong time. The antithesis of a leader. His inability to grasp the severity of the pandemic is mind numbing.

AN AMAZING BOOK - AMAZING YET FRIGHTENING
Revisado: 07-27-20
This is an amazing book about a highly dysfunctional family. Mary Trump decimates the myth that Donald Trump is a self-made man and verifies, in great detail, that POTUS is a true sociopath.
My heart went out to her father Fred Trump Jr. Mary did an outstanding job articulating the pressure that was place on him his entire life. He had two options, numb his senses with alcohol or become a caring, unfeeling, self-absorbed ‘killer’. Fred Sr. drove his oldest son into an early grave and Donald became, possibly, the worst president in the history of our great country.
The Epilogue is something that should be required reading of every voter in America. Prior to November 1st, I highly suggest you allow anyone torn between Biden and Trump to read it.
Well done Mary Trump. Thank you for your bravery.

Historia
The history of heavy metal brings us extraordinary stories of larger-than-life characters living to excess, from the household names of Ozzy Osbourne, Lemmy, Iron Maiden and Metallica to the brutal notoriety of the underground Norwegian black metal scene and the New Wave of British heavy metal. It is the story of a worldwide network of rabid fans escaping everyday mundanity through music, of cutthroat corporate arseholes ripping off those fans and the bands they worship to line their pockets.

A MUST READ FOR METAL HEADS
Revisado: 04-04-20
I gave this book a 5-star review. It's funny, highly entertaining and well written. I'm 46-years old and a life long metal head. Andrew O'Neill does a phenomenal job looking back through the origins of heavy metal and beyond. He even introduced me to bands I had never heard of and I have added them to my play lists. Let me say this: he is biased towards Death Metal / Black Metal. He seems to skirt past the fact these bands paint their face, live with their parents / grandparents and sell a significantly smaller amount of music. If the vocals sounds like a painful colonoscopy, he seems to adore the band and lavish them with praise, even if a dozen people have purchased their album. Know that going in and all is well. I still love this book - I have the written and audible versions. - Harry Psaros
