Such a great addition
Revisado: 03-26-21
This novella is just SOOOO satisfying, and i love that it is basically Max's "beginning" to his whole CIA foray.
im kinda upset that there wasnt some grunt or something that referred to Whittaker as "dick licker" at least once, that would have been just so amazing😂😂

Historia
A plan to destroy America, a hundred years in the making, is about to be unleashed. There is a powerful technique called the Overton Window that can shape our lives, our laws, and our future. It works by manipulating public perception so that ideas previously thought of as radical begin to seem acceptable over time. Move the Window and you change the debate. Change the debate and you change the country.

Stunningly Frightening
Revisado: 01-26-21
When I first read this book 5 years ago, it frightened me.
After reading it today, January 25th, 2021, it down-right terrified me.
So, SO many things have clicked. I cant believe that when i read this book years ago, it just sat in a closed box in the back of my mind, even with all that has happened over the last few years.
I feel like i have not only failed myself, but my country, my family.
The similarities of this book to the last few years is simply...outstanding. And i dont know what to do.

now replace the word "scientology" with "the democrat party"
"the lengths scientology will go to discredit someone"
the lengths the democrats will go to discredit someone.
scientology indoctrinates
democrats indoctrinate
scientology fosters hate in the name of "love and kindness"
democrats foster hate in the name of "love and kindness"
scientology punishes "dissenters "
democrats punish "dissenters"
too many similarities to list
"trump supporters" are the antithesis of totalitarianism
conservatives want freedom. LESS GOVERNMET control.
democrats want absolute government control over every aspect of their lives. what to think, say, where to work, what to drive, and the list goes on.
try learning about federalism.
"trump supporters" are not "looking for answers", they have the answers. those answers can be found in the Bible, The Constitution and the Federalist Papers.
"trump supporters" want LESS LAWS! Democrats want laws to govern everything.
when your rights come from God, whichever God you worship or don't worship, no one can take those rights.
when your rights come from the government then the government can just as easily take those rights away.
this podcast started out great but once the hypocrisy was exposed I had to stop listening.

Great Ending!
Revisado: 01-20-21
This book was yet again, another great novel. i wont spoil anything for you! just know its GOOD!
P.S. I'm pretty sure either AJM has rewritten this book since the last time I read it, or i am suffering from one of the worst cases of the Mendella Effect ever. because i could have SWORN the last time I read this book O'Neal died, and they went back to put Kara and Sadie's mom out of her supposed misery. like, that scene specifically, of the mom crawling up the basement staires, bone growth almost completely encasing her body, with Dom and Kara(now a full-fledged hunter) standing over her, THEN the book ends. and i was SWEATING and DREADING reading book 9 and this book because i have a very vivid memory of O'Neal dying as well(he's one of my favorite characters) and i didnt want to experience it again😂 its a conspiracy i tell you, because NONE OF THAT HAPPENED?!

Great book about the dirty side of war
Revisado: 09-25-20
this book gets into the nitty gritty of war, but from (mostly) the prospective of an enlisted man. This book made me cry, laugh, and feel awkward. which is fine, haha. there was a little easter egg hidden in chapter 23 that i almost lost my crap over because it leaves so much hope for another series. I highly reccomend this book, however, i cant stress enough that you should infact read the warnings first, and take them seriously lol.

It was supposed to be just another mission. Buried deep in the rugged Alaskan wilderness lies a secret that could alter the future of mankind - a secret that billionaire Elizabeth Grey has invested millions in solving. But when the dig goes silent, an elite team of battle-hardened military contractors is brought in led by former Marine Max Ahlgren. This book is great! I love how it dabs into the extraterrestrial, without being too hoaky.
Max is my new favorite character, he's so different from other males i've read about, and in my opinion, more realistic, which makes it more enjoyable for me. And i think the narrater matches him perfectly aswell!
