Really great to be back with this crew, but...

Its almost all set up and filler for the rest of the new series. There are a few good bits but it's mostly meeting about meetings that probably could have been a email. That said, I still enjoyed being back in this universe.

came here for a cop or werewolf book got almost neither. is the mc a cop? yes, is the mc a werewolf? probably (I didn't get past the 5.5hr mark) does he moan about the one night stand he had 7 months ago? YES for half of almost every chapter (or so it seemed). was the story interesting? I don't know the author never got to the point.

last two books have really fallen off.

so much filler" reads stats, two sentences later re-reads same stats, four sentences later reads more stats" I know this is a lit rpg book but come on man, move the story along at the same time. Also multiple chapters(three i think...they kind of blended together) on describing diarrhea...really?!

my download had several sections in the first story that skipped like an old CD. got halfway through the second story and it skipped again. stopped listening there and returned book for a different copy with a different reader.
