Milena McKay has a unique way with words, which is brilliant and refreshing. Her literary novels have scenes that encourage heavy breathing; this one took my breath away throughout. The angst, drama, and chemistry between the characters were perfectly woven together making it impossible for me to stop listening to. The moment I finished Reverence, I hurried to place it on my Re-Listen list. There are a handful of sapphic authors Independent and traditional, who I also place on my 'Buy Everything they Write' list. Melina is at the top of this list. As a lesbian, I'm extremely grateful we have such an incredible literary talent representing our community. If it has not been said before, I want to thank you, Milena. Thank you. My name is Day and I have met Milena at GCLS Writers conferences and during online classes, but we are merely acquaintances. Please accept this rare review of mine Amazon. How I feel about this book is genuine and from the heart.

I wasn't sure I could handle listening to Abby's performance of The Unfinished Line so soon after I read the ebook. The story wrecked me, but I had to listen to the brilliant Abby Craden Bring Cam and Dillon to life. Abby and Jen are quite the team and I'll always be bold enough to jump on board when they unite! Once again, I laughed and cried. The story left me drowning in emotion. Some say the best novels are the ones that never leave your mind. This one lives deep in my soul.

Five stars, I would give it more if I could! I had read The Senator's Wife and I know Jen Lyon is an incredible wordsmith who is capable of taking readers into the minds and hearts of her characters, but I was blown away by Abby's narration. She created 15+ unique character voices in just the first chapter! I believe this is the best of her work and I've listened to most of her sapphic audiobooks. Of course, she had an amazing book to work with. I would gush more about this brilliant duo, but I was up all night listening to this gripping story and quite frankly, I need a nap.
