Seriously! You're bringing back Diogenes
Revisado: 01-20-23
The story was decent with characters we all love. Then you end abruptly after bringing back Diogenes? I think you've wrung about all you can out of that character. Let me guess, this time he'll be a good guy? Or maybe they'll blow him up with a nuke, just so you can miraculously bring him back in a few books. I don't know what you guys are smoking but this may be my last Pendergast book!!!

Historia
It starts off simply enough. (Doesn't it always?) Jack has been on hiatus since the tragic events in Harbingers. With his beloved Gia's encouragement he dips his toe back into the fix-it pool.Christy Pickering's 18-year-old daughter is dating Jerry Bethlehem, a man twice her age. Christy sensed something shady and sinister about him, so she hired a private investigator to look into his past. But the PI isn't returning her calls. Will Jack find out why?

Different narrator
Revisado: 08-14-18
very bad decision to use a different narrator. Nothing against mr. Hill but when you get used to a narrators characterizations over a series of books and then all of sudden they're changed it tends to ruin the story. I would be willing to purchase this book again if they use the original narrator of the previous books.

Narrated by a GPS??
Revisado: 02-01-18
Story was good and book went at a good pace. The problem was the narrator. No offense but is he a robot? Seriously sounded like my gps reading.

Needs consistent narrator's
Revisado: 03-29-17
I listened to the first book. Lincoln Ryme sounded like a soft spoken African American. Book #2 in the series he sounds like a loud mouth from NYC. You know, the accent that is annoying to everyone outside of NYC. Also, Tom the assistant. He sounds like a regular guy in book #1, book #2 he sounds feminine with a lisp. Audible needs to figure this out. Stick with the same narrator throughout the series. Otherwise this was a great and entertaining book. Hats off to Mr Deaver!!
