Adventure intense

If you've served, you can appreciate this listen. I experienced all emotions possible as this took some twists and turns. I felt this had a strong story line, character build up, and great connections. The author and actors created vivid images of what was happening in each scene. Well done and Thank you for giving justice to the unheard and ignored of the military.

I am so in love with the writing and narrator. It's amazing and smartly represents the point of view of the animals and how they work together to rescue their 'pack'. The excitement and suspense is expertly provided at every turn. When they are scared so are you, when they are mad, so are you. Riley is amazing and certainly reminds me a lot of Mike's character in do form

Evokes all the emotions

I wanted to try a new author and book so here we are. I wasn't sure at first about it but it picks up and when it does you better hold on!! I was angry, tearful, amazed, excited and more. Very Strangers on a Train with a few twists. The narrator definitely sealed the deal with each character being clearly identifiable.

I tell I had my whole family wrapped up in this book now!! We are emotionally involved. I have to say sometimes I want Mike to just give his wife a complete Talbot Verbal Beat Down. Loved the more humane side of his unlikely partnership. Ready for the next. Please don't ever change the narrator!!

I had not heard of this and wanted something new to listen to. This story had me going through all the emotions...happy, sad, frustrated, confused, angry, and etc. Well done for the story and excellent performances!!

I am so in love with the way the author assaults the mind with such detailed descriptions of what the characters experienced during the fallout. But what I love the most is the humor and uncanny timing of his well placed sarcasm. I just wish his skill was more appreciated by the folks he was fighting to save!!
