Historia
All through the town of Pine Deep, people are having their most precious memories stolen. The monster seems to target the lonely, the disenfranchised, the people who need memories to anchor them to this world. Something is out there. Something cruel and evil is feeding on the memories, erasing them from the hearts and minds of people like Patty and Monk and others.

Outstanding Story!
Revisado: 12-04-20
Few duos are better than Jonathan Maberry and Ray Porter. Ink is an outstanding piece of work that focuses on personal growth, self-realization and acceptance, loyalty, and love, all under a supernatural umbrella filled with darkness and obsession. Maberry again shows he's a master storyteller, and Ray Porter delivers a performance that makes listeners feel everything the characters experience. From start to finish I was on the edge of my seat! Definitely my favorite of 2020!

Historia
As a ruthless sentinel sworn to protect the ancient Vampyr king and the house of Jadon, he has "HOJ" literally inscribed on his heart: a heart that was tragically broken centuries earlier, when human hunters slayed his mother and Dark Ones murdered his father. Having survived the unthinkable, he never dreamed he would come this close to another human predator, let alone a female pretending to be his destiny.

Captures the essence of soul mates!
Revisado: 08-01-17
Would you consider the audio edition of Blood Betrayal to be better than the print version?
I love print versions and this print version is spectacular. I think audio versions are wonderful when the narrator is equally wonderful. Eric Dove does an amazing job of reading this story and bringing the characters to life.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Blood Betrayal?
There were two memorable moments and strangely they are the two darkest moments in the book. Dark, but I think necessary. The scene in which Saxson saves his destiny and the scene in which Ciopori exacts revenge on someone who dared to harm her child. Both scenes remind the reader and fans of this series that while the House of Jadon is just and kind, they are also vampires - territorial creatures who will stop at nothing to protect their loved ones. Again, Tessa Dawn shows just how human these immortal beings can be.
Any additional comments?
While at its core, this series may be about the "happily ever after", Tessa Dawn's writing skills provide so much tension and intrigue that at times you almost hope you never reach the end. Her characters are rich and complex and despite their otherworldly nature and abilities they remain relatable to readers. In Blood Betrayal we are introduced to new characters, new threats, and reacquaint ourselves with old friends. Tessa Dawn demonstrates the power and passion of family and the unbreakable bond that is the House of Jadon. Saxson Olaru is a character to be reckoned with as he shows his capacity for love and the ferocity that comes when his loved ones are placed in peril. The Blood Curse Series continues to be among the best vampire series around and I am already looking forward to the next installment.

Wonderfully crafted take on the dragon legend
Revisado: 01-01-17
What made the experience of listening to Zanaikeyros - Son of Dragons the most enjoyable?
Eric Dove does an excellent job of narrating an intricate and exciting adventure. The characters are fun, complex, and easy to relate to on a very basic human level.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Zanaikeyros - Son of Dragons?
I found the scene of the dragon sons meeting with their fathers to be most memorable. It was thick with reverence and fear.
Which scene was your favorite?
Zane and the dragon warriors rescuing Jordan was by far my favorite. The strength, cunning, and primal ferocity with which they fought was intense. The juxtaposition of that with dissonance Zane experienced added an interesting layer of complexity.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
It would be very easy to. The story flows well and the narration is excellent.
Any additional comments?
This book was an intense introduction to an amazing new journey by Tessa Dawn. Tessa has a true gift for creating characters that readers can empathize with, and characters that come to life in such a way that you verbally root for them, or in other cases...curse them. The story of Zane and Jordan is not your typical "star crossed love". As with her other novels, Tessa shows an intense character arc for them both as they discover who they truly are, individually, and eventually, together. If you're looking for a thrilling novel with love, action, and suspense...you've come to the right place. Welcome to the Pantheon of Dragons!

Historia
Julien Lacusta is a troubled soul, born into tragic circumstances, and raised in a violent time. Despite being a Master Warrior in the house of Jadon, and one of the most elite trackers the Vampyr have ever seen, he is damaged to the core: tormented by endless shadows, haunted by unseen ghosts. And he knows - by all the celestial gods he knows - that if he ever releases those demons, the beasts that lurk within, there will be hell, fire, and brimstone to pay.

Fabulous read! Great BCS addtion!
Revisado: 06-27-16
Where does Blood Ecstasy rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
All of the stories in the BCS are amazing tales. When read by Eric Dove, they truly come to life in a spectacular way.
What other book might you compare Blood Ecstasy to and why?
Any fan of Dark Fantasy will enjoy this series and this installment. Those that enjoy the Black Dagger Brotherhood series or the Midnight Breed series should check this out!
Have you listened to any of Eric G. Dove’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have listened to Eric perform each of the BCS novels and each time it's better than the last. Each character comes to life, richer and fuller than before and the listener is completely drawn into Dark Moon Vale.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
As always, Tessa Dawn's work keeps me wanting more. Several scenes in the end shed new light on some existing characters and made me feel connected to them in interesting ways. I loved learning more about the thoughts and feelings of Julien and Braden.
Any additional comments?
Blood Ecstasy takes the reader on an intense emotional journey where we see Julien (and others) learn to accept and forgive himself and truly take stock in what is important in life. This series continues to be so much more than just a vampire novel. It continues to explore the complex emotions that we all experience and shows us how to love, understanding, acceptance and loyalty can help you overcome anything.

Historia
The folks in Mike Erikson's small New England town would say he's just your average, everyday guy. And that's exactly how Mike likes it. Sure, the life he's chosen isn't much of a challenge to someone with his unique gifts, but he's content with his quiet and peaceful existence. That is, until an old friend presents him with an irresistible mystery, one that Mike is uniquely qualified to solve.

Revisado: 03-16-16
Would you listen to The Fold again? Why?
Yes! The story and characters are compelling and the narration is extraordinary!
What other book might you compare The Fold to and why?
I cannot think of one that compares.
Which character – as performed by Ray Porter – was your favorite?
Mike, Reggie and Jamie were my favorites. The chemistry between Mike and Reggie and later, Mike and Jamie was quite interesting. Both relationships seemed to grow through the story but the conversations always seemed natural.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Double check your doors before going to bed.

Revisado: 02-29-16
Would you listen to Daywalker - The Beginning again? Why?
I think this story is a wonderful fast paced journey into a new Tessa Dawn world. It's exciting and as with her Blood Curse Series...leaves you wanting more.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Daywalker - The Beginning?
This short story is written in a 1st person POV which puts us in the head of Lacy Logan throughout. She's fun, spunky, curious and full of life making every moment of her short story exciting.
What does Emily Beresford bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Emily gives a voice to Lacy that seems to match her personality and follow the character arc well.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
The only reaction I had was a desire for a longer story...perhaps a new series.
Any additional comments?
There are a few authors out there that I will stop everything for, just to read their work. Their use of the English language to create a world that captures me in the first paragraph is unmatched. Tessa Dawn has done this time and time again with her work...and has not disappointed with Daywalker. Her short story quickly takes us into a world filled with supernatural suspense and terror and as always...she leaves us wanting more. Her original ideas mixed with compelling and complex characters take Dark Fantasy to an entirely new level. I am intrigued by this character and I hope I have a chance to read more of her.

Revisado: 02-06-16
Would you listen to Blood Genesis again? Why?
I would...and I have!
What about Eric G. Dove’s performance did you like?
Eric has taken great care in giving each character his/her own life. His narration brings the listener into the world and you feel the presence of each character.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Only excitement and a desire to hear more about the lives of the prince's before the course. I would love to have more stories about this time period to have an even bigger picture of who these men are.
Any additional comments?
Blood Genesis is a well-crafted short story that allows readers, both loyal fans and new, a glimpse into the origins of the Blood Curse that plagues the lives of the vampires we have grown to love. Through this tale we learn more about the brothers, Jadon and Jaegar, patriarchs of the great vampire houses and the architects of the events that led to the world we know today in Dark Moon Vale. As with all of her work, Tessa’s words allow us to feel the fear, the anger and the love that exists in the world she has created, only this time…those feelings exist in the ancient lands during a time of war and darkness. This prequel is a great starting point for new readers to the Blood Curse series. And trust me, once you’ve finished, you’ll be craving more.
