Meredith and Nina Whitson are as different as sisters can be. One stayed at home to raise her children and manage the family apple orchard; the other followed a dream and traveled the world to become a famous photojournalist. But when their beloved father falls ill, Meredith and Nina find themselves together again, standing alongside their cold, disapproving mother, Anya, who even now, offers no comfort to her daughters.

An unforgettable story, in the tradition of Hillbilly Elegy and Educated, that reveals how a careful look at a broken past can open a path to profound healing and a satisfying future. In fact, Jesus does some of his best work with people who find themselves there. In sharing his remarkable journey, Terry offers hope that healing and wholeness are possible no matter how broken a life may be. Perfect timing!

This book in many foundational ways describes much of my own journey. Yet, I have still felt mostly alone and misunderstood, not accepted in it by many especially on an emotional and spiritual regard. God brought me to purchase this book even when I was unsure if I really wanted too. I now understand why. Thank you Mr. Wardle for sharing your journey. The message that we find the love of God through our own dying, our own cross, through paths of rejection and brokenness is a truth being restored that we need to hear and share.

Historia
Brennan Manning has been dazzingly faithful in preaching and writing variations on the ragamuffin theme, Yes, Abba is very fond of you! But today the crowds are gone and the lights are dim, the patches on his knees have faded. If he ever was a ragamuffin, truly it is now. In this his final book, Brennan roves back his past, honoring the lives of the people closest to him, family and friends who've known the saint and the sinner, the boy and the man. Far from some chronological timeline, these memories are witness to the truth of life by one who has lived it.

All is Grace
Revisado: 11-29-11
This book is refreshing because it shares the life of a man who has the courage and vulnerability to take off all religious masks and embrace his humanity while also sharing his heart's desire to know God and the grace that works powerfully in his life.
