While the subject of mental illness or behavioral health is prevalent throughout, the author successfully ties in humor, intrigue, and most importantly Love. I really enjoyed this novel and am looking forward to the next one!

The story is great, however like many other reviewers have stated, the novel lacks development. It’s almost akin to a filler story.
It would have been nice to see if Sonya would have developed shifter abilities or if she already has them and they haven’t been awakened.
Maybe some connections with her heritage and scent of violets and water?
I really needed more. Also the lady who is really dead? How did she come about being in the rift area while Sonya was there.
I will definitely read the next book but please develop the story more.

I absolutely loved this story. I cried. I laughed. I got angry. I felt giddy. So many emotions and they were wrapped so prettily by the wonderful story of a man who didn’t forgive himself and a woman who only knows how to forgive.
The dual story of the slave and her lover as the foundation of the main characters storyline was written so beautifully.
I really wished the writer included the readers on the engagement, the wedding, meeting the father as well as more details about the slave couple ultimately reuniting in the midst.
I wish there was more to this take. Maybe a sequel?

What did you love best about I Met Him in the Ladies' Room?

I love the innocence and realness of the main character. Her desire to know more about Jesus and her honesty.

Who was your favorite character and why?

The main character hands down! Her life story parallels my own in many ways.

What about Anne Marie Susan Silvey’s performance did you like?

Everything! She really embodied each character and I forgot it was one person reading the narrative.

Who was the most memorable character of I Met Him in the Ladies' Room and why?

Ricardo. I chose him b/c like many unbelievers, his anger and escape route behind being "real" was sobering and alarming. Many people have Ricardo's in their day to day and learning how to deal with them as well as understanding they are a necessary evil is important to a believer's walk with the Lord.

Any additional comments?

Yes, please add another book. I want to know if she grows in Christ and has true acceptance of the Lord. Does her family mend and what happened to her best friend?

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Yes and No. I really enjoyed the story itself, however, the narrator worked my nerves. She dragged much of the text and caused anxiety in the build up when it wasn't necessary. It went on and on and it was quite exasperating. If it weren't for me desiring to know for myself I would have stopped the narrative in chapter 1.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Deacon Pillar. I enjoyed his randomness and quick wit. He was so humble and quick on his toes.

How could the performance have been better?

YES YES YES. The performance left much to be desired for me as the listener. The narrator really did take urgent moments in the story and dragged them on and on. It was terrible and frustrating. The very first chapter of a climatic scene was terribly done. I almost gave up on the story b/c of it, but because I love the author I hung in there.

Could you see Somebody's Sinning in My Bed being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

Yes, with great actors and an amazing soundtrack. Also more dramatics should be added.

Any additional comments?

n/a
