Caregiver advice from caregivers is rare

Caregivers are so busy and bogged down that it's somewhat rare to see them sharing like this on media platforms. This is good sound advice from someone who really understands because they're living through this too.

Alecia Renece is one of the best narrators ever

Alecia Renece is a talented creative who I've enjoyed via her YouTube channel and music for a while now, so her perfect narration was expected, and she didn't disappoint. I was overjoyed to get her book, and so delighted to listen-read. It was further confirmation of the journey I am on as a black girl-woman creative. I feel that buying this book was part of my own intentional self-love.

Interesting combination of intrigue and romance

Stacey did a good job of combining an intriguing spy mystery with a very tense romance. Parts of the tense romance were pretty confusing… I felt like the store had a back story that I should have read beforehand.

This story was so well done that I felt I was watching a tv series! Loved the main character Avery and all of her complexity. I felt like she was a true representative of America. So when is book 2 coming?

Pulitzer Prize?

Mary is not just a good story teller, but a great narrator, too. I truly enjoyed listening to her detailed family history combined with her psychoanalysis of her key family members. Well done: Specifically, her commentary on the current resident of the White House and missteps of this administration deserves a Pulitzer Prize.

Funny and romantic and relatable

Out of all the first four books in this series, VR Christmas has a love story that’s the most tragically relatable to me as a caregiver and is delivered with heavy doses of humor. Loved it. Just what I needed.

What made the experience of listening to Braving the Wilderness the most enjoyable?

I love that Brene Brown was the narrator for her own memoir. She has a great voice, and her voice is familiar to me already due to her videos on TED and Oprah's website

What did you like best about this story?

I love that Brene encourages leaders to be brave enough to accept other people, even those who are much different in their views and beliefs. I especially love that she gives practical advice on how to do so.

What about Brené Brown’s performance did you like?

Loved her performance as her own narrator. (on one of her other books that I purchased via audible, she used someone else as the narrator, but I like Brene's narration much better)
